I noticed something on ATS forums lately and in local news.

The thought pattern have been reduced to caveman level
there is a evil that is growing on this planet, the lust for war and destruction
again and again I see ATS members reply they are very excited and cant wait to see whats going to happen
and some start a sentence with "would it not be funny if" when speaking of nuclear war.

I know humans have a natural force of curiosity.
But the way people are drooling thinking of millions of people getting pulverized, mutilated, tortured and hunted

They are truly giving the face of the human race a twisted and evil one.

Why this perverse lust for evil is growing.. I can only guess

Lost touch with reality, everything is just like a action movie
Simply love seeing other people suffer and celebrate they are not
People are bored and hope something happen.. may it be WW3
It is our destiny to destroy our self, and we want it to happen

I like to add:
How does the future look like if one of these "nuke trigger happy kids" get the seat of control

I want to sincerely thank you for putting into words what I've been thinking and feeling for days now. I haven't been able to think of a way to word it that wouldn't get me hit hard on T&C for being blunt in the way I want to be on it. (people wonder why I've been snappy and short? Bingo!)

A good many members at ATS, many of whom I've talked to in U2U or on the forums to KNOW this is true, stand to lose family members or close friends on Korean soil if this thing blows out and it goes to war. However that happened won't matter. Mistakes? Miscalculations? False Flag by who knows who? No one will know or care to know HOW precisely it all started, if it does. We'll only know the casualty count cracks 6 figures by the end of Day #1 ...and some will have lost people we love in that first 12-24 hours.

People we won't even get a damn body back to bury, in all likelihood.

Someone had to say it and I appreciate that you did. This "Action Movie" fixation on war and death is SICK. SICK! ...and it's getting more and more common. Not just here, but I hear it in the real world too. I just want to strangle some people and ask them at 100 decibels ...WHEN ARE YOU LEAVING TO STAND A POST ON THE DMZ?!

Of course, I can't do that. Oh, how tempting it's been a couple times recently though. I gotta run to attend to course work and a term paper ...but I'm glad I caught this before I split for the day.

S/F and I wish I could give you 2-3 of them.

Kim Jong Un may very well be one of these "nuke trigger happy kids".

Maybe a lot of these threads reflect anxiety that these posters are experiencing while we wait to see what is going to happen.

Nothing new here. I don't know why you think this is some strange, unfamiliar phenomenon. Look at human history, buddy. It's replete with exactly the kind of attitude and activity that you're talking about.

People have destroyed one another and one another's property for eons. There is a twisted, natural bent in mankind to destroy.

Perhaps the only thing different is that we've gotten smart enough now to be much more efficient at it. Instead of killing people with clubs or conventional explosives, now we have nuclear physics at our fingertips. We can unleash much more devastation in a shorter amount of time than we ever could before. That's progress for you!

And why would you single out Kim Jong Un? You don't thing that we have a plethora of these sociopath maniacs in seats of power in the west?

You see my signature below? That's really a quote that George W. Bush spewed out of his mouth on one fine day:

"Free nations are peaceful nations. Free nations don't attack each other. Free nations don't develop weapons of mass destruction." ~Geo. W. Bush

He's right. Free nations don't develop weapons of mass destruction, because they are free and they wish to let others be free. The funny thing is that the man who said that was the leader of one of the most heavily armed possessors of weapons of mass destruction in the world. Was he that stupid, or was he sending a message?

DUH!

I have tried to make a conscious effort to avoid all these ridiculous NK threads... the media is spreading all this doom porn for questionable reasons, NK has always been the annoying kid who always makes baseless threats. It saddens me to see ATS fall into this trap and follow the path of the MSM in propagating this nonsense through countless threads. We should have had a few threads on it and then moved on... by plaguing ATS with this nonsense we are only helping to push a certain agenda.

On theme but off topic, about the only positive thing i could say for compulsory National Military Service (regardless of country) is that this desire for war and destruction would be severely limited afterwards. Once people have had to see the horrors first hand, i do not think most of them would have the same desires afterwards!

Personally, i can't imagine much worse than having to go to full scale modern war.

I'm pro annihilation myself. Not a lust for death and destruction. But I find as a species in general we are not fit to survive, not in our current state anyway. The system is corrupt. The people in control will do anything to to hold that power. The checks and balances are shot. You can say change it all you want. But it will take an army of individuals to unite and do so. That will never happen. Too many conflicting ideas and opinions. No common ground to be achieved just look at your politicians. There is no more compromise or negotiating. Everyone is stuck in their ideals.

So blow it up. All of it. No more slaves to money, lets do a global reset. No more elite, no more class warfare or struggles. Restart and do it right. Continue to blow it up and restart it till its done right. Its prolly been done before. Lets do it again, again and again till we get it right.

Well golly wilbur, d'ya think it might be cuz KJU is declaring war left right and centre while claiming nukes are the life of his country?

I sure think it could possibly potentially maybe likely due to that.

Besides, you cannot have panic sex without doom porn.

Thankfully my garden is small, the tree kept short. Not much to do should the power go out around here except pull the curtains.

Wow, what did I do to you?

All I did was take notice to the fact that Kim Jong Un has nuclear weapons and is threatening to use them.

Also, I noted that might make some people that care a little nervous.

I don't remember pushing GWB as a great leader or anything.

The rhetoric from KJU has been pretty strong by even dictator standards and the MSM (okay for me BBC) has been fair - interviewing people from South Korea who work in the North to see if there has been any changes there had not. Many of the people on ATS including me are trying to understand the motives/politics that is driving this latest behaviour, how the neighbours are reacting and hence trying to predict the next moves.

We are also looking for clues between the words being spoken and the intention i.e. actual evidence to back the rhetoric coming from the leaders as often the words are for local consumption only. There is a well known trick by the politicians to bleat that the world is being harsh to them so they can stand defiantly and be seen from within their own country that they are a strong leader. UK do this all the time with the EU. However, the showmanship is playing with a much higher stake with the mention of nuclear missiles.

So sorry I think it is a fair discussion for ATS.

I agree we don't deserve this planet, we the human race are the harbingers of death the destroyer of nature, the master of torture.. just one problem if we carpet bomb every inch of the planet, the survives would be the elite and bacteria.. or should I just say human

That's an interesting scenario, but if the elites are all that's left then who are they going to get to do their bidding? Each other? Think they are gonna get knee deep in it and rebuild? Well good luck maybe they'll have to earn their keep for once or maybe just shrivel and die in their ineptness. Either way all those scenarios sound good.

Am i he only one who came to this thread thinking I was going to see some nuke on nuke action.with one in the chamber and two in the hangar
misleading title, but in all seriousness the reason it seems that way is I think most people are just so fed up with the current state of the world,

that they don't care and the MSM programs everyone to expect the next big war or thing and makes the collapse seem "cool" and makes them want the collapse of society even more...for example the popularity and success of The Walking Dead.

Why are some of the words red?

Is that supposed to be emphasis? Because normally people use bold for emphasis.

Because spiders suck blood!

Huge amounts of blood! They're like vampires!

An alien race of ghosts on a quest for human blood!

Nice thing is they don't have any power of the physical world, unless a stupid human deprives himself of spiritual protection and loses his firewall, then axes his children to death and sets his house on fire with a bomb.

When spiders get hold of someone look out! Because its on!
