I have a nice collection of cloud formations just like this from different parts of the world...just weather being weather. I'm pretty sure you can find a good portion of them through NASA's site.

I see no conspiracy, sorry.

Looks like a tunnel or wormhole. Like a tornado of spirals.

If these type of cloud formation is "normal" how come we don't see this type of cloud happen more often?

Something or some force must be causing it but what really?

I wish someone could scientifically break this phenomenon down....

Thanks for posting everyone

These coil-like or bow-wave-shaped clouds were created by the clouds passing over the Prince Edward Islands, in the south Indian Ocean.

Could be the interference of the island geography with the winds and whatnot causing a pattern break in the clouds, which over distance spreads, into that cone shape? Well, that would be the guess I could come up with. It looks very natural, though unique, but still natural - to me at least.

This screen grab is from Google Earth. Check out the crater formation, it has walls a thousand feet high. Also note the cloud shapes showing on the day the Google Earth image was captured.

In looking again I see that Prince Edward Island is actually the northern island of two.

But it also has a 1000'+ shear wall for weather to move over.

I used to fly stunt kites in a variety of winds. I can tell you from experience that winds will sometimes come in bursts flying the kite becomes like playing tug a war with a dog as it has a jerking motion. Seems a wind pattern like that could form a cloud pattern like that as it is forced over the island. Interesting to say the least.

They are not beaming up huge wattage.... What makes you think that they are?

The HAARP website.

www.haarp.alaska.edu...

FOIA docs like the ones linked on Pg1. The planning doc from 1990 calls for 1,000,000,000 watts.

The intensity of the HF signal in the ionosphere is less than 3 microwatts per cm2, tens of thousands of times less than the Sun's natural electromagnetic radiation reaching the earth and hundreds of times less than even the normal random variations in intensity of the Sun's natural ultraviolet (UV) energy which creates the ionosphere.

Not much power at all....

Top of the page. 3.6 million watts.

A high power transmitter and antenna array operating in the High Frequency (HF) range. The transmitter is capable of delivering up to 3.6 million Watts to an antenna system consisting of 180 crossed dipole antennas arranged as a rectangular, planar array.

Come on...

ERP of 3.6 million at the transmitter, goes up many miles suffering free space path loss / fade margin, spreads out over an area tens of kilometers wide... Sure maybe that ends up being microwatts per square centimeter. Still 3.6 million watts leaving the transmitter, and there's a lot of atmosphere for it to travel through before it gets up there.

Please, go stand above the HAARP array. Right after you file your DHS/Fusion profile report.

As a RF engineer, perhaps you can explain the mechanics of how a radar facility in India can create these clouds over an island thousands of kilometres away?

Being stupid, could that photo have been doctored in any way?

I also assume that it is the regular almost "man made looking" spiral of radiating waves, that is being questioned?

They certainly do not look like regular clouds, too ordered and too regular for anything other than the type of ripples from a sound wave or stone drooped in a pond. Maybe the path of a meteorite, as there have been rather a lot of them recently?

Apart from that, I have no idea what we see. It is certainly interesting and I look forward to others thoughts.

I can't. Mistaken geography early on.

The argument at present isn't about what caused the cloud formations in the OP. It's a rather off-topic discussion about HAARP. And with that, I digress.

Erm, any chance of shearing with us some of these pictures?

And, are they from space or the ground?

I hardly call a IC-718 (max power 100w) and voice module, HF broadband dipole, pole and coax a powerful radio, or having a powerful antenna
