No difference.

Complete unenlightenment already contains within it all degrees of being unenlightened. So nothing to measure..

Then why claim to be 'completely' unenlightenment? It's meaningless if there's no difference.

So, isn't it a rather stagnant state you are in, if the state contains all degrees?

Where is the room for growth?

Do you have an ego that may be construed as being overly strong?

Tough question.

I feel the word "ego" has become a loaded word lately. What is your concept of "ego", so that we may communicate effectively?

OK. I want to change my guess.

Are we talking John Locke or the MIB?

Is there even a difference?

I don't think you're allowed to ask questions in this thread... sorry.

Interesting thought to follow there.

This thread was created as a bit of "satire" on the whole "I claim enlightenment" meme floating around lately.

It was more just to smile and have a bit of fun, while digging up a few pearls I buried in my backyard.

Good call.

My next thread will be "I claim complete enlightenment; please answer all the questions I have about it."

I wonder how that would go over?

Sorry to answer for the OP'er, but the answer you seek is 9. Number nine, number nine, number nine...

That was a bush league attempt at whatever "that" was.

I know. I could tell because... I'm incompletely enlightened. :p

Context of the measurement is everything.

You seem to be implying what appears as "infinite expansion" is paradoxically "infinite atrophy" and only relevant to side you view "it" from?

Not implying and less specific than that.

The foundation measurement and comparison mechanism defines all relationships.

Whether being all aware or all ignorant is more or less enlightened is up to one asking the question.

It's not a loaded word, it's a part of our physiology and the study of it is in it's infantile stage.

From one ignorant fool to another:
I think the "mind" (which you think you are) has only given you the idea that YOU are expanding .
Do you think you are all the thoughts/concepts/ideas?

Sometimes I allow myself to put on a mask and identify that form for fun.

Do you know who you are that claims to be enlightened?

Seek only to abandon all previous notions you have regarding what enlightenment is or isn't.

In my OP I wrote.

"I claim to be completely unenlightened and seek only to abandon all previous notions I had regarding what enlightenment is or isn't."

You appear to be confused my good man, care to enlighten me?

Let me rephrase, I think you have misunderstood.

What is your "definition" of ego so that we may speak about the term from the same perspective.

Forgive me Ergo, I forgot what the question even was.. much less "who" was asking it.

Thank you for the momentary block I am experiencing with this concept you provided me.
