Well, after many years of following this fantastic forum, (looking in from the outside) I have finally built up the courage to join.

I hope to continue to learn from each and every one of you. Maybe one day, I will be able to contribute my 2 cents worth.

creating a 'birthdate' as it were

nrthstar...my actual surname is Lithuanian which translates into ~bright light, bright moon~
so i am interested in names which invoke the stars/sky/celestial

Thanks for the welcome. Your name is awesome. I was named nrthstar by my parents. I used to talk to the stars. They tell me that started when I was 4, however, no one could understand the language I was using. My favorite star was the North star. I have lost that at some point, which I don't remember, but I always had a connection with the sky/stars. I continue to look to stars, hoping one day, I could regain that connection at that level. Sometimes, I feel sad, but I know that my time will come again.

Looking forward to connecting with you in the near future.

Hey St Udio,

You mentioned creating a "birthdate" as it were. It's funny you mentioned that. In the last few days it has been on my mind whether or not I should join, can I be of some value or worth to the forum? Believe it or not, I was sleeping and something woke me at 12:30 am and it was as if I was pushed downstairs to the computer to sign up. After doing so, I started to question the reasoning for my action. Needles to say, I was bewildered, and to be honest scared. So I prayed for the best, since my decision seemed to be mine, but at the same time, not mine. If that makes any sense.

As I stated in my introduction, I am looking forward to learning from each and every one of you. Having said that, can you please elaborate on your initial thought of the date of my joining.

I would greatly appreciate your insight. May be you can shed some light on my bewilderment or something that I have overlooked or was blinded to. Or was it just a coincidence????
