Thought it would be fun to post a few songs that I think fit the mood of ATS.

Feel free to do the same, maybe we find some gems we didn't know existed.

The only rule...must fit with the ATS theme.

I'll throw a few out to start with.

First a few from UK singer/songwriter Tom Mcrae...one of my favorite singers and highly recommended.

The Boy with the Bubblegun

End of the World News (Dose Me Up)

Oxygen by a guy called Willie Mason....makes me angry at myself listening to this song.

So...tell me what you think and feel free to post your own.

Just an observation...was just listening to the Willie Mason song in my own post and had to smile when a pop up appeared over the video trying to sell me a mobile phone sim card.

The opening lyrics to Clearance Clearwater song could actually have been made from post titles from the new post section of ATS!

the Bowie outside album, just like ATS bit hectic, odd, all over the place. lots of different sounds and voices coming together making something sometimes brilliant and sometimes uncomfortable. also gives you the feeling of what it must be like in some posters heads
D but any excuse to listen to Bowie.

"This is a song about...it's an angry song. Life's too short and too complicated for people behind desks and people behind masks to be ruining other people's lives, initiating force against other people's lives, on the basis of their income, their color, their class, their religious beliefs, their whatever..."

Eternal Life is now on my trail
Got my red glitter coffin, man, just need one last nail
While all these ugly gentlemen play out their foolish games
there's a flaming red horizon that screams our names
And as your fantasies are broken in two
Did you really think this bloody road
would pave the way for you?
You better turn around
and blow your kiss hello to life eternal, angel

Racist everyman, what have you done?
Man, you've made a killer of your unborn son...
Crown my fear your king at the point of a gun
All I want to do is love everyone...

And as your fantasies are broken in two
did you really think this bloody road
would pave the way for you?
You better turn around
and blow your kiss hello to life eternal

Oh...

There's no time for hatred, only questions
Where is love, where is happiness, what is Life,
where is peace?

When will I find the strength to bring me release?
And tell me where is the love in what your prophet has said?
Man, It sounds to me just like a prison for the walking dead
And I've got a message for you and your twisted hell
You better turn around and blow your kiss goodbye
to life eternal angel...
Angel...

Jeff Buckley, a legend and one of musics greatest losses. I wonder what he would have done if he had lived?

Bigger, better, greater, bolder?

Who knows, as the music forum tagline (and the Kurgan) says..."It's better to burn out, than to fade away".

Still, would like to have seen what he could do.
