He gave you a clue when he told you were he comes from and the fact that no one likes a gunman.
Googles yer friend.

Oh grow up. You're acting like Piers and changing the subject. Yeah let's take away US guns because in Africa there are child soldiers with guns. Speaking of Africa how about we cut everybody's hands that way they can't harm others (look up the short sleeve/long sleeve). You are using the same tactics like your pathetic Morgan when you can't counter my argument.

And FYI I lived & worked & traveled Europe for decades so don't try to make me sound like some backwoods hillbilly who never got out of his county. History is one of my hobbies and honestly if you don't live in the US you can't understand that the 2nd is sacrosanct.

No honestly I'm not changing the subject. And while we are at it what the bloody hell has Africa got to do with it now?. You throw a question at somebody that actually does have experience with a place that has had it's fair share of troubles and it just makes you sound completely clueless. I was trying to be helpful. Fair enough buddy. If I sound like Piers, you sure as hell come across like Alex Jones. Carry on going LALALALALALA with your fingers in your ears.

Total Gun Ban does not work in UK.
Okay, now we know the truth. Well, i guess we should make the exact same mistake
here in the USA because we know it will fail ???

More guns = less crime
The bad guys don't want to get shot.

We banned handguns, If a citizen of the UK wants to own a shotgun or a rifle they can but we have controls on getting them.

About a mile away from me.

Most of us are not saying ban your guns at all, many here just like the idea that there should be strict laws that you have to follow to be able to keep a gun. (Talking about the UK here).

You're a brit, why do you care so much if americans have or not gun rights? And why should United States follow UK's example? All of you ranting about gun rights in the states and aren't americans are just jealous. Jealous for the simple fact that american are the last stand in the gun rights. The rest of the world have given em up long ago and by now are used to keep their heads down or even worst, in between their knees. Americans don't and they won't as long as they'll keep their guns. Period.

Read my post again I said this is what we think to do with our laws, you can do as you please.
Jealous? not at all If I wanted a shotgun I could legally get one.
If we wanted to be armed we would. I do not feel the need to have one and until I do I will not have one.
The only time I considered it was when I went clay pigeon shooting and found out I was a natural (40/42) but after a day or two I thought nah it was a bit boring.
We can comment on an international forum all we want, just as you can comment on whatever you want on here.
I admit after the shootings I was angry and said somethings but after many decent people of the USA taught me why you have such a gun culture I admitted I was hasty with my reaction.

What many of you are missing is the bigger question I asked here.

That is the real question you should be discussing.

Turn around is fair play.
Maybe we should start a movement in the UK for the introduction of a 2nd Amendment
for the people of the UK?

People of the United Kingdom: Demand a 2nd Amendment type right to bear arms
in the UK!
You're crime rate will plummet!

There are strict gun laws in Illinois. Human beings are getting slaughtered there everyday!
Food for thought: Criminals ignore the laws.

To me, although Alex has injudiciously made himself look like a raving moron, his point about democide, government tyranny, the reason for the 2nd amendment, are all sound. That's the issue. Liberals who oppose gun ownership, even of something like a semi-automatic, have a naive understanding of how history has generally progressed. Socialism and banning guns work hand in hand. When unpopular legislation is passed, when government seeks to impose undemocratic changes which the electorate refuses, it becomes tyrannical. Now imagine the government knows it has an electorate thats armed to the teeth: the thought of creating civil war would frighten them from pursuing draconian or undemocratic legislation. Guns are the protector of the 1st amendment, which is why it immediately follows the 1st.

Also, what really needs to be addressed is violent video games and mental health. The avoidance of this issue is absurd given it's the mentality which causes the crime, not the weapon.

One more point on Alex's tone. His offhand approach is for pandering to his base of supporters. However, as most people can tell, it's highly rude, indecorous, and pushes away any undecided person to the other camp.

Alex thinks he's smarter than he is. Although I mostly concur with his views on the importance of the second amendment, his jumping from one topic to another - antidepressants (which many people need, but he apparently is too coloured by his political views to understand) to 9/11 to false flags etc, is so counterproductive and actually embarrassing for most people to watch.

Despite his reliance on facts, he did a disservice to those advocating the importance of the 2nd amendment. His mocking of Piers accent at the end (although humorous) was also unwise, as it underwrites the already popular belief that Americans are arrogant bullies.

I agree waynos, they all make me vomit too-- left, right; I don't care about their alleged positions, I just like to highlight hypocrisy on both sides.

The fact of the matter is that if Fox news was the venue which broadcast Buzz's comment where he was encouraging someone (Morgan) to shoot Jones; a comment that was met with across the board agreement from the other guests; if it had occurred on Fox there would be "outrage" from the other networks and special interest groups. It would be spun as Fox advocating for the murder of an American citizen and it would be a huge news story.

It would be so much better if the subject of guns and gun violence could be discussed without all the vitriol and hyperbole.

Seriously, it is a more charged conversation than religion.

He is rude, arrogant, stupid, unprepared and cannot engage in a serious debate.

If anyone thinks Alex Jones did well or represented their cause in that "debate" with Piers Morgan, then they have some serious and deep rooted mental issues.

Alex Jones comes across as a passionate American who refuses to surrender the
2nd Amendment to a bunch of crazy liberals who demand a form of gun control
that.......WILL NOT WORK.
Of course it will not work but WE DON'T CARE. Lets just do it anyway!

Alex Jones is a five-star nut. He doesn't care about your guns, he cares about his bottom line and has no moral compass whatsoever.

He is a nut.
