it amazes me that folks don't understand that skeptics are on every thread from the 4th black pyramid to the economic wars of the world... We all are here to gather evidence and deny ignorance.. I quite enjoy reading doom porn looking for anything interesting that might be a spark of truth.. why is it that you can only post if you are in agreement with a topic? That is not what ATS is... perhaps you didn't get the memo?? Critical thinking skills applied and welcomed here.

all the media did was spin the idea of december 21 to

1. create fear

2. disrespect and mock the mayans after they had nothing more that they themselves could do with the idea of december 21


"they" are only going to say "the mayans were right" when "they" (those who are behind the media) have no more power.

they are demonstrating their power by creating the fear and mocking the idea and everybody just following along doing exactly what they are told to do (be afraid and mock the idea in this case).

when "they" have lost their power (or the little of it that they have left) everybody will then have to accept that the mayans were right. at this point we will all be wondering why we didn't listen to the mayans DIRECTLY and it will be too late. not too late as in game over but too late in that we all wasted our time listening to the media who only cares about controlling our perception of reality when we should have been listening and trusting those people who have been telling us all that all we need to do is open up our hearts to prepare ourselves for this time. that that is all that we need to do in order to prepare ourselves for what is to come. which ironically enough is the opposite of fear and mockery. (what the media is doing..)

I agree. I had edited my post to add that before I saw yours, actually. So, I guess at least two people can see through the false veneer of confidence and certainty put up by the scoffers and skeptics, and notice the underlying terror and dread its trying, poorly IMO, to occlude from public sight.

Dunno what I think about the OP yet. But Im interested to hear more.

I have a brother inlaw who quit his job to write a book and become enlightened. He also lusted after an 18 year old until they locked him up. I guess he learned the true meaning of harassment. Three months later, when he was let out he went to ask her why. They enlightened him for another three months.

The moral of the story is the world goes on while you have your flights of fancy. You can either join us on our journey or you can sit under the bridge waiting for what ever.

Its so interesting to me... multitudes of cynical scoffers seem compelled to flock to threads like these and seem programmed to parrot some cliche response, over and over again, even though they apparently "dont care" (but still feel the need to post), are convinced "nothing will happen" (a logical impossibility), and so forth. What compels the herds of "skeptics" to jump onto every thread they see? Who are you all trying to convince repeating yourselves over and over? Others? Or yourselves? It seems like a fear based reaction to me. That would explain the incessant need to repeatedly go on the offensive against anything that if it were to happen, might shake up the box theyve placed reality into.

What compels believers in a nonsensical story/prediction to jump on every thread with a smug "we know something you don't" attitude?

10 years ago a civilian at lockheed opened my eyes and showed me true evidence that those in control of shadow governments (call them what you want) were helping to hasten some natural disasters to turn earth into a paradise for them with less population.
