you didn't even bother to watch the video which is over 30mins long.

you just went into another mad rant about how precious your guns are and shouting traitors.

of course the thread is a joke anyway because the OP has giving no details on what the video is about and given no personal opinion on the matter discussed in the video.

I've learned to take the skepticism of the newbies with a grain of salt.

What is comical about the whole gun thing is

They would do greater good by rounding up the gangs. They know who they are. They could simply classify them as terrorists and go from there. Rounding up law abiding citizens just because they own a gun would be futile and start a civil war. That would get bloody very fast. I seriously doubt every law officer would go along with such a move.

I think some members of the anti-gun camp are truly bitter about how unpopular their opinions are by contrast.

I do agree, however, with the part about commenting without watching a video. I see the ever ubiquitous super-skeptic crew do that on an all-too-regular basis, and it's poor form, aside from being annoying and see-through. Often around here it seems like people want to talk, just to talk, regardless of the discussion going on around them.

I suppose wanting to be heard and desiring significance are pretty universal human traits. Just wish they didn't so often manifest themselves in ugly ways.

I believe the video you are speking of is the same one Youtube themselves have been promoting for weeks now.
Why would Youtube push this video on us???
oper8zhin is right, take the guns first and the rest is quite easy to accomplish, only an idiot could not see that given the history of disarming peoples around the world.

Well contrary to "proceedure" i did want to make a comment, however i wanted to hear what the ATS crowd might come up with.....
The video is a collection of different news clips and opinion pieces by various people.....
I place a great deal of trust in The Good judge (Napolitano)...what he says i listen to.....
The RT stuff is bound to be a little one sided, but the NEWS is dispensed accurately enough.....
There are no facts presented that i believe can be refuted for innaccuracies (please enlighten if so)
My intention was to show the progress of the march to the police state that nobody seems to notice much....
from guns to email you are being confined to ever more restrictive prying, by Goverments enforcers.
The Constitutional Republic is being slowly strangled and it apears this is no natural process.....
The objective was to actually have people watch the vid, and comment on its contents...
If it apears to you we are NOT heading towards a confrontation with the goverment over the basic rights and freedoms....then please state why not.....
My take is that the slow but sure disarming of the people is well under way......the ominous dark clouds of national socialism are gathering over the republic.....
The history of Hitlers rise to ascendancy in Germany seems to be echoed in the halls of our own goverments....
I for one expect to do all that is within my power to awaken the opposition to this very real danger.....as long as i remain alive .......whether free or not.
