Happy Thanksgiving ATS!

Well, it's turkey day morning here.

Family. Turkey (stuffed with peaches and spinach) is in the oven. Pecan, lemon, pumpkin pies are cooking. Deviled eggs almost ready.

(yum and yay)

I give thanks today for my very patient wife, my two sons, my brother, my parents and my extended family here at ATS.

Yes, let's all be thankful for;

a failed political system and corrupt politicians
a system that destroys people for doing the right thing
a system that rewards financial criminals for doing the wrong thing
voting fraud
a kenyan/indonesian president that is afraid to release his records
a mass media system that lies to us constantly
an economy in the toilet
treaties with an organization looking at world domination
the loss of millions of jobs to outsourcing
increasing inflation

Yeah, let's be thankful ;-)

Dear beezzer,

It's Thanksgiving here, too. I'm glad the country gets a reminder to be thankful, the list of things to be thankful for is endless and it's pretty harsh not to show appreciation. I wouldn't mind a Thanksgiving month, with a special celebration day tucked into it.

I've always been fascinated with the American tradition of acting happy and cheerful in regards to the genocide of the Native Americans and the raping of their recourses.
