'Rogue Planet' Found Wandering Through Space

I am definitely not a Nibiru believer, but this story may be fuel for the fire for some. It would be interesting to know if this planet could latch onto a gravitational orbit somewhere along its travels and find a permanent home.

This is just more evidence that the Universe is a damn incredible place full of endless wonders.

Cool find, too bad it doesn't do much for space exploration.

This chunk of mass is not known to have an atmosphere, nor does it orbit a sun. What criteria does one use to consider it a planet? Why is it not just a large asteroid?

I am not very knowledgeable on space matters so I was wondering.
