I am in Southern Illinois and I had to show proof of who I was. I did this by using my Drivers License. Kind of strange because I thought that no one
had to show an ID.
Yep...showed my voter registration card and my drivers license...just like I have for years. I don't have a problem with that. I understand why
some do and that is fine. I have them right in my wallet...took about 4 seconds to produce them...not a big deal.
Yep. In Michigan we needed drivers licenses and they checked if I was registered to vote, and we filled out an "application" to vote. Only name and
home address in the voting district nothing else.
I did.
Ideally, I need a registry card, but since I don't, an ID has to suffice. I always feel like I'm inconveniencing them... but oh well. I don't make
the rules.
