Chris Rock has a message for white voters -- make sure that you vote for the white guy!

(Remember, he's a comedian, folks, lol)

Chris Rock is Hilarious. Didn't he actually play the first black president in some movie right before Obama was elected? Thanks for the humor - I needed that.

EVEN FUNNIER than this was how badly the Conservatives here were DROOLING at the title of this thread...

...that was UNTIL they hit the play button on the video!!

I bet most of them almost broke their mouse-clicking finger in attempt to hurry up and play the video so that they can have it quickly forwarded into Hanity, Rush and Levin and the other BOZOS on the radio to show how an African American wants the "white guy"!!

Good stuff Chris Rock!!

Funny, yes. Politically relevant, no.

I think the message was more for non white voters the anything. Just because Chris Rock, a black comedian, supports Romney, must mean he is real progressive.

That is the real joke

The day Chris Rock does anything that makes the news which does not involve him dragging his low brow comic stylings through racist black-allowed-only humour, is the day I will laugh ironically.

Not really. I found it funny.

If anything, it sends a very mixed message. I doubt it would encourage any undecided white voters to vote for Obama but it could potentially discourage a number of black voters from voting for him.

It was funny.

First, it was funny. I laughed out loud.

Second, consider the style of humor.

implication 1: White people will only vote for a white candidate. Of course, this begs the question: how did Obama get elected in the first place, unless many many white people had already overcome their alleged prejudice and voted him as our leader.

Implication 2: White people need help finding a reason to vote for him in this election.

Implication 3: None of his policies are reasons a white person would vote for him.

Implication 4: While Barack the person may be ironic, not one of Obama's actual exploits or policies are funny. In the least.

#4 says it all.

This isn't a news clip and why would Chris Rock make the news in any case? He's a stand up comedian and that was a skit on a late night talk show that somehow despite being categorized by you as "black only" occurred on a show hosted by Jimmy Kimmel

Black celebrities and especially leaders are often times critisized by the black community as not being black enough..This was not pointed at white voters it was aimed at black voters to touch on that very argument. It was funny and poked fun at both canidates.

Even funnier is that Arsenio Hall warned Black community in 2008 that Obama isn't the person you think he is...Google it dude...

I still don't understand why this is so widely accepted as funny. Its racism! If this were a white comedian with a message to black voters, He/She would be torn apart.

I take it that you're not familiar with Chris Rock -- of course it's racist, that's his schtick.

I posted it because it IS funny, even if it is racist, and after this long and negative campaign, might as well lighten the mood in the room.

( Lighten, get it?
)
