Thats exactly how I see it happening actually. TSHTF and everyone goes into survival mode to the point of cannibalism just to survive.

That's why the popularity of a "head shot" is the preferred method of killing a zombie. A mindless human, wounded in a leg or arm probably wouldn't feel much pain, dealing with hunger, sores, untreated infections, and the like.

A zombie would lack hygiene, but would retain the rudiments of intelligence, and thus would make a worthy foe. They'd be scary, knowing they only wanted to cannibalize your flesh for food and steal your supplies, and coupled with an unfettered conscious, nearly unstoppable. There'd be no reasoning with them, only kill or be killed.

Chilling thoughts, indeed.

Are you trying to argue about fictional zombies or are you saying people don't have enormous strength that we dont know who to use?

so, in actuality your theory does not describe zombies per se but rather animalized human beings reduced to cannabalism and extreme violence to perpetuate their existance.

interseting. not zombies though.

if, however, this were the case i think the super strength thing is much more likely due to the fact that when these super strentgh events occur in the real world the person performing said event is typically under extereme stress or a driving need to save ones own flesh and blood.
