I think it's hysterically funny that the 2 monitors they are sending to Texas are being sent to Austin - the most far left leaning city in the state. They are coming to make sure conservatives don't prevent anyone from voting. Hell's bell's, I don't think there are any conservatives in Austin!

To me, this just makes the U.S look incompetent....

We have never needed the UN to monitor before, why start now??
It makes us look weak to the other countries.....

In the OP article, it said that 44 people were going to be sent over here....

Soooo......which polls are they going to "monitor"?
Just curious how they are going to choose, unless they pick the states that are the "high stake" states...

And the gov. of Texas told them that according to the law, they must obey the perimeters set around the polling stations.
Also the Texas’ State Attorney General Greg Abbott has threatened to arrest any United Nations election monitors who violate Texas Elections Law in the run up to the General Election on November 6th.
[Don't Mess With Texas]

"Come on, I dare you", he says to the UN official, "I dare you to step across THIS line......". hee,hee

Oh boy, I can see the headlines now:
"Texas arrests 2 dozen UN officials...all hell has broke loose"

[just kidding for those that don't know it's a joke]

You know, the only problems I remember last time were the New Black Panthers.....

And if the info I posted earlier is correct, it was the NAACP and ACLU that asked for the UN's help.

I just don't get it....
Some thing weird is a brewing........

The UN is the Bilderbergers , CFR , Trilateral commission and Agenda 21 all rolled up into one . The UN has no business trying to sway our politicians . You should wake up and study Agenda 21 and how the UN/NWO wants to take away your right to own private property and move you to population centers not unlike Harlem .
Educate yourself . Independent , not hardly .
In that Agenda 21 document from the UN you will find a subject called population reduction . Is your name on the list of survivors ?

Well this is what I get from the preamble:

Humanity stands at a defining moment in history. We are confronted with a perpetuation of disparities between and within nations, a worsening of poverty, hunger, ill health and illiteracy, and the continuing deterioration of the ecosystems on which we depend for our well-being. However, integration of environment and development concerns and greater attention to them will lead to the fulfillment of basic needs, improved living standards for all, better protected and managed ecosystems and a safer, more prosperous future. No nation can achieve this on its own; but together we can - in a global partnership for sustainable development.

Sounds like a worthwhile endeavor. Maybe there's a tinfoil hat version that I need to read.

yeah, take a good look at the real "eco friendly" agenda 21 being almost inspirited by David Rothschild, the eco warrior himself...

for anyone commenting on what the UN´s intentions are for the world, take an educated look at the whole thing.

What that could mean is nothing less than a threat to anyone who likes their country the way it is.

Oh, and as far as the UN being there to regulate diplomatic relations to avoid war.....yes that is its purpose, NOT to act within a countries borders since they cannot represent said country without bias towards a candidate who is more in line with their respective countries leadership, or political ideology. A threat in that sense as well. So, they have no place in US elections.

We were told, by that post, to look at what agenda 21 was about so I went to the Agenda 21 info page. What I posted is what I found.

Why tell people to read something if you think that the content isn't true?

Get past the Bull Skate and read the dxxx thing through . You will lose your warm and fuzzy feeling quickly , especially when you start to see that you will lose your private property rights . You will also lose your car because it is not sustainable and you can take the bus to work when you live in population centers . The open rural and sub urban thiung will be of the past . Disease and total dependency on your government for food and water will put you even more at the mercy of the BIG MONEY bunch that wants a global population reduction of about 80 to 95 % . How do you feel about it now ? You really need to check it out for sure . Youtube has some deliniations of what it means to you . As for the economy suffering , the really big Banksters don't give a flip about the small fish such as we think are too big to fail . Ford , IBM , Bill Gates and such are just CanonFodder to the Elite . Big fish eat smaller fish all the time .

I don't really dig gloom porn. Care to point out where in the 350 pages of the agenda these things show up? I know that some people may lose property but that already happens when the gov claims eminent domain. That doesn't mean all property rights are abolished. The word property shows up only 14 times. For example:

10.5. The broad objective is to facilitate allocation of land to the uses that provide the greatest sustainable benefits and to promote the transition to a sustainable and integrated management of land resources. In doing so, environmental, social and economic issues should be taken into consideration. Protected areas, private property rights, the rights of indigenous people and their communities and other local communities and the economic role of women in agriculture and rural development, among other issues, should be taken into account.

Establish and develop local, national and intersectoral mechanisms to handle environmental and develop mental consequences of land tenure expressed in terms of land use and land ownership. Particular attention should be given to protecting the property rights of women and pastoral and nomadic groups living in rural areas;

Implement policies to influence land tenure and property rights positively with due recognition of the minimum size of land-holding required to maintain production and check further fragmentation;

Rural areas provide energy supplies in the form of wood. The full potential of agriculture and agroforestry, as well as common property resources, as sources of renewable energy, is far from being realized. The attainment of sustainable rural development is intimately linked with energy demand and supply patterns.

Looks like the other instances are linked to intellectual property. None of these sound much different than present day US.

first off Obama is head of the UN security council which creates an interesting situation if Obama lost the election what effect might it have on the UN lol. No wonder they want to "watch to see polling" The UN would lose a powerful chess piece. By the way its unconstitutional to hold two offices while president of the united states but it is starting to make sense why he would pull this crap

Maybe the easiest thing to do is to look up Sustainable Development . That is the supposed basis for the NWO . There are also some videos that deals with Agenda 21 on youtube by some very smart people . If the trashing of your Constitution and Bill of Rights and the re -writing of your rights as a person by Banksters bent on absolute power is ok with you it's going to be great , for you ! Your lack of interest has facilitated their ability to conquer you . But you are not alone the most of the people are ok as long as they can get their beer and cigarettes and cable .

Well, you told me that if I looked at Agenda 21 that I would loose my warm fuzzy feeling because all those bad things you mentioned are in there. I had a look and they are not there. Now you are pointing me to youtube vids, which leads me to believe that you don't really know what is actually in Agenda 21 and you're just going on what others are saying about it.

If someone thinks that the Constitution and the Bill of Rights are the source of their personal rights then it would seem logical to them that a change in them or the elimination of the same would eliminate their rights. I don't believe that to be true. This is why you are wrong about me being conquered. They can enact whatever laws they want. In the end I know I'm free to choose what laws I will follow, bend and break.

Listening to other peoples gloom and doom predictions is not investigation. I looked at the document and did not find what you said was there. If you can point out where these ominous parts are then please do.

The rest of your post is beside the point.

If you did kick the UN out you would become a very lonely super power.

But just because one nutty congressman says they should doesn't mean they will.

The UN has destroyed all sovereignty in America. The UN is a domestic enemy of the US Constitution. The UN and anyone who supports it can go directly to HELL. America's elections are none of the UN's business. In fact, NOTHING America does is the UN's business. If it wasn't for American taxpayers footing the bill, there would be no UN.

But you feel that foreign elections are the US's business, right?

Not at all... I could care less who gets elected in other countries.

I posted relevant entries, quoted from the body of the document, in regards to property (personal not intellectual). Your the one that made the claim that the information is in there so I figured you could point it out. Did you read it or just take someone's word about what was in there?

I have been saying the UN is bad business for over a decade now. They are World Trade, World Bank, World health Org, and very much the NWO.

Obama is their man. Agenda 21 is real.

They answer to no higher power except the Vatican see en.wikipedia.org...
The NWO is the UN. It is the Roman Catholic Church. It is Babylon.

It's all very biblical.

I delved into it to see what all the worry was about . Population reduction is a part of it for sure . The document is quite vague , but when you see Ted Turner, Bill gates,David Rockefeller , Henry Kissinger and read the Eugenics Quotes attributed to some very powerful people who are Bilderbergers , CFR and Trilateral Commission members you know that a big population reduction is coming . These people are not hiding their intent . Still with the big money spent to develop the Avian Flu into a extremely contagious deadly virus by the Dutch and others compeditors for the title and reward , one wonders why , who and when will it be unleashed on the people .
Am I suspicious of these people ? Yes! Why would they work so hard , spend so much money for scientist to develop a massive population killer . The Dutch scientist were proud that they had reached that ominous goal first . That begs the question how many others ? And what is their long term goals ?
Yes the UN needs to be de-funded , kicked off the US and the sponsors put in jail for treason .
