My reasoning is that he does have something to hide. And since it is hidden, I would only be able to guess what it is and I don't think I will do that on an open forum. I guess time will tell if he has something to hide or not.

He won't take him up on it because no President should bow down to Donald Trump's demands.

Trump says flat out, if the information meets his "satisfaction", then he will donate money. Trump is a tool, I don't think anyone trusts him.

Really Donald...the last document he released was fake...What makes you think the Lyin King would honestly turn over his college app, etc.... No matter how much money you offer to donate to the needy. He doesn't care about anybody but himself...and believes the world revolves around him thanks to some weathly Arab funding Obama/Bill Ayers socialist ideas....See the foreign donations fisco....

I don't get it. Oh well, Obama won't get re-elected away because of the BENGHAZI cover up. The news coming out about BENGHAZI is the worst crap I've ever heard concerning a president covering chit up I can remember.

I don't know, honestly, how I feel about this. On one hand, you are correct, no president should bow down to Trump's demands. On the other hand, lots of American voters would also like to see those transcripts, myself included, and all presidents should bow down to the American people on reasonable requests that don't interfere with our safety and security. Don't forget, the president is supposed to serve us. Also, even though it is a demand from Trump, it would be a perfect opportunity to do 3 things...1. make Trump look foolish, 2. clear up any debate over his college years, and 3. get 5 mil for the charity of his choice. So if Obama has nothing to hide, then why not do it?

What exactly did Obama cover up?

He said it was an act of terror, they investigated it, they said it was a planned attack, the intelligence community confirms there are no Al Qaeda links and there was very little pre-planning, and yes they are also saying that the video did play a role.

So what is he covering up?

So, Trump's big new is to issue a challenge to Obama?? A challenge that he knows Obama will not accept. I could have produced the same You Tube challenge myself knowing Obama would never cash a check for money I don't have...

Come on Trump and quit pulling the "Geraldo's"... Trump said nothing revealing... we all know Obama won't release anything... nor will he ever... If anything more comes out about Obama it is going to be after he loses in November when people feel safe enough to spill the beans...

It would be cool if you could just buy the answers to mysteries, but you can't.

He should have thrown in another 5 million if Obama releases the bin laden photos.

Terrible PR stunt. But the Donald will do pretty much anything for publicity.

I'd like to see Romney's tax returns for the past 10 years, and that isn't going to happen.

Trump is trying to use his money to influence the election, if people fall for it, then that is their fault.

Obama would look extremely weak if he gave in to Trumps demands. I don't believe he has anything to hide, and I would be extremely dissapointed if he gave in to Trump. The only people that want Obama to do this are Birthers who are already not voting for Obama.

Most Americans aren't Birthers and don't think he was born in Kenya, so why should Obama bow down to Trump to please a minority of Americans that hate him?

It does put Obama in a bit of position, regardless of how crazy this challange is...

If Obama continues to refuse, how does that make him look, when he has the potential to donate 5mil of Trumps money for some scraps of paper...oh wait tthere could potentially be some reasons

If i were Obama i would immediately donate 5 MIL to charity to not lose face

You raise some excellent points. I would also like to see those tax returns released. and please don't think I'm a birther. In all honestly, if he was born somewhere else, the clintons would have been all over that. lol

all over the news, I picked one at random...just google cover up or turn on "radio/tv"

White House e-mails blow up its Libya cover story

By Jennifer Rubin

President Obama is playing the media and, in turn, the American people for fools on the Libya scandal. Reporters and columnists who carried his water have been hung out to dry. The White House cover story — namely that CIA got it all wrong and the White House (in urging us to believe the murder of four Americans was the result of a video riot gone bad) was telling us what it knew, when it knew — has been severely undercut. Three e-mails sent to the White House within two hours of the attack identify it as a terrorist operation and inform the White House that local jihadists with al-Qaeda connections claimed responsibility. Reuters reminds us:

U.S. Ambassador Christopher Stevens and three other Americans were killed in the Benghazi assault, which President Barack Obama and other U.S. officials ultimately acknowledged was a “terrorist” attack carried out by militants with suspected links to al Qaeda affiliates or sympathizers.

Administration spokesmen, including White House spokesman Jay Carney, citing an unclassified assessment prepared by the CIA, maintained for days that the attacks likely were a spontaneous protest against an anti-Muslim film

This was false. And we know now the White House knew better. Three separate e-mails were sent to the White House on Sept. 11:

The first email, timed at 4:05 p.m. Washington time — or 10:05 p.m. Benghazi time, 20-30 minutes after the attack on the U.S. diplomatic mission allegedly began — carried the subject line “U.S. Diplomatic Mission in Benghazi Under Attack” and the notation “SBU”, meaning “Sensitive But Unclassified.”

The text said the State Department’s regional security office had reported that the diplomatic mission in Benghazi was “under attack. Embassy in Tripoli reports approximately 20 armed people fired shots; explosions have been heard as well.”

The message continued: “Ambassador Stevens, who is currently in Benghazi, and four ... personnel are in the compound safe haven. The 17th of February militia is providing security support.”

A second email, headed “Update 1: U.S. Diplomatic Mission in Benghazi” and timed 4:54 p.m. Washington time, said that the Embassy in Tripoli had reported that “the firing at the U.S. Diplomatic Mission in Benghazi had stopped and the compound had been cleared.” It said a “response team” was at the site attempting to locate missing personnel.

A third email, also marked SBU and sent at 6:07 p.m. Washington time, carried the subject line: “Update 2: Ansar al-Sharia Claims Responsibility for Benghazi Attack.”

The message reported: “Embassy Tripoli reports the group claimed responsibility on Facebook and Twitter and has called for an attack on Embassy Tripoli.”

Yet the president and his advisers repeatedly told us the attack was spontaneous reaction to the anti-Muslim video and that it lacked information suggesting it was a terrorist assault.

If the media were the honest advocates of the public’s right to know, they’d demand that the president present himself to answer their questions. If they were intent on doing their job, then every Obama surrogate who goes on TV or radio or submits to an online or print media would be grilled as well. Given what we now know, how could media outlets (in formal endorsements or otherwise) suggest voters can entrust him with the presidency for four more years when the possibility remains, and indeed has heightened, that we were intentionally misled? It’s preposterous for the president to avoid answering questions, and even more preposterous for the media to accept his refusal to answer questions as simply par for the course.

It has been obvious for some time that the president has nothing but contempt for the media. He chides them for the 24/7 news cycle. He lambastes them for critical coverage. And he has snubbed serious news programs in favor of fluff program where he will be freed from the obligation to answer hard questions. And in his most recent stunt, he had an off-the-record pre-endorsement telephone conversation with the Des Moines Register’s publisher and editor.after turning down an in-person meeting with the paper’s editorial board. (The White Hosue relented today, agreeing to allow his conversation to be released.)

Letting the president get away with this evasion routine is now more than mere evidence of media bias. The media’s passivity puts the country at risk in electing someone who may have been intentionally out to bamboozle the public or alternatively couldn’t be bothered to focus on the details of a terrorist attack of this importance. Media reticence in this regard signals to this and every future president that the national media are patsies.

Offer him 5 million after he wins the presidency and I bet he'll do it. Obama will never ever do it. Reasons both wouldn't is because no matter what it will be used against them no matter what's in them.

He covered up the attack. He left it to Susan Rice and others to jive talk for days. While he ran around to Vegas,

talk shows etc.. he should have stayed at the white house and got on TV etc..and said in "plain English" we were

attacked and this is what we did blah blah blah...

He done messed up and it will get him un-elected...he is gone.

He did, the very next day after the attack.

In case you missed it.

He never tried to "cover up" the attack. And he never said it wasn't a terrorist attack.

Anything Obama may have said in the Rose garden was undermined by his 2 week cover-up that followed blaming the attack on a stupid video. He then enlisted Hillary, Carney and Rice to join in attempting to lay the blame for the attack on right wing extremists who produced the youtube video. He knew all along that it was a terrorist attack but he lied anyway.
Finally the truth is beginning to trickle out.
Maybe you Obama supporters should ask yourselves if you would be so supportive of the President if he were a Republican. Be honest. I think if Bush had been caught lying about this you would be demanding he be impeached or worse.

Trumps big surprise; "My ego is even bigger than any of you thought possible!"
Trump would have been better off offering a $5 million reward for Obama's college & passport records.

I honestly just don't care what he has to say.... In my humble opinion, Donald trump is irrelevant to politics and in general....

If he had any real bomb shell, he would have spilled it by now... Or... Some one else would have....

The only bomb he has to drop is a turd in the proverbial toilet....

Honestly Trump.... Just go away... You have nothing to say that matters and nothing you have to add will effect this election... At all... Just go away....

If you're that desperate for publicity... Go make an appearance on Hollywood Squares.. It's where all the other washed up "celebs" go...

Sorry for the rant... Just sick of Trump.... I'd be ranting even if he made a similar claim toward... Well any other politician.... Just go away Donald Trump...

As I said, he has nothing to add that matters and nothing he has to say will effect this election. Just as I suspected his " big announcement was really nothing more than a plea fore attention on the part of Trump.

Maybe it is harsh of me... I just... Don't like the guy. I am not crazy about Obama either... But my god... Trump, you're a waste of time.

Next time, if you want attention, go on Hollywood Squares or the celebrity edition of The Price Is Right. At least that way you wont have to BS the world and claim you have some special announcement....

Trump, I would be more impressed if you made an announcement that you were going to actually get a decent hair cut or something

Yeah, I know, I am being kind of mean, but the guy just rubs me the wrong way...

Okay, rant over.
