It's called cognitive dissonance where there is a conflict between the existing beliefs (conspiracy) and the facts presented by many others. So they adjust the facts to fit the conspiracy! The classic one being that everyone presenting the facts is lying and are part of the cover-up. Another, as you have noted, is to re-work the conspiracy to encompass the facts. The Elenin nonsense did a lot of that, each fact resulted in a re-working of how Niburu was going to destroy us.

Now here's the very very spooky bit. They have done tests where they split people up into two groups and tell each group a different version of a story (made up but they don't know that). Then they put the two groups together.......guess what. Nobody changes their beliefs !!!! on a made up story !! Even when.....even spookier....both groups are informed of the truth about the test !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WOW

Also if you do any banking from home id monitor accounts or change passwords over tye phone. Your computer was most likely infected with something.

Is just browsing a forum going to do anything if you're not downloading files? I run a script blocker to disable flash and java, does that mean I can't get any nasties?

Well you cant because the governments of the world have blocked it. You famaliar with that world government? You know the one where they can work together to make decisions for the whole planet ? No ? Thats because it does not exist. The different governments of the world did not all of a sudden come together on this one point to denying this information to the people of the world.

One picture in particular caught my eye, this one to be precise:

Looking at it closely, it reminded me of this photo:

In fact, if you look closely at the original and the second photo, you will see that they are one in the same (With much photoshopping) the tree, the turned head of one of the people running..

It has been cropped in closer, so I did that in photoshop to compare:

Then, I worked for about 5 minutes in photoshop adjusting the brightness/contrast and adding in some noise,blur, and brushes.

This is the result:

Now, while it isn't a perfect match, I do believe it is the same photo used in the original. Surely with more time spent on it and other techniques/brushes being used.

All signs point to a hoax, if we just had the video that would answer our questions, but the mere fact that this mysterious video cannot be found..leads me to believe that these are just photoshopped images with a neat story attached. Too bad.
