Effects of Meditation
Effects of meditation come in many different forms from the psychological effects of meditation to the physiological effects of meditation. Although there have been many different studies into the effects of meditation it has only been recently that the professionals in the field of science medicine have started to take notice of the positive effects of meditation and to, in some cases, prescribe the use of meditation to patients.
The various effects of meditation are quite extensive in range. Meditation has long been thought to have beneficial spiritual consequences, but recently, science has also backed up claims of physical benefits that are worth the consideration of anyone hoping to begin meditative study. Showing that more and more positive effects of meditation are being found and substantiated as meditation becomes more mainstream. Deliberation and meditative practice have been proven to allow people to change the way their minds work and to obtain different levels of consciousness.
The pineal gland was called the "third eye" by ancient people. It was thought to have mystical powers. This may be why the French philosopher Descartes decided that the pineal gland was the seat of the human soul, the location of what we call the mind. The pineal does contain a complete map of the visual field of the eyes, and it plays several significant roles in human functioning.
Also called the pineal body or epiphysis cerebri, the pineal gland is important to this discussion for two reasons. First, it is the center for the production of the hormone melatonin. Melatonin is implicated in a wide range of human activities. It regulates daily body rhythms, most notably the day/night cycle (circadian rhythms). Melatonin is released in the dark, during sleep. The recent melatonin craze sweeping through the health conscious community makes claims that the hormone slows the aging process (a defense against free radicals), prevents jet lag, is implicated in seasonal affective disorder, coordinates fertility, and allows for deep restful sleep patterns.
"Sun Gazing is an ancient method of healing that originated in India about 2600 years ago with the teaching of Lord Mahavir of Jain. Most people who do sun gazing have gone to extremes such as gazing like 10 minutes or 30 minutes. What it does, basically, is that it activates the pineal gland, the glands responsible for the body's circadian rhythm.
How it works I do not know, but for some reason at certain times, the eyes needs lights necessary to re synchronize with the body systems. What I do know is the pituitary was once considered a "master gland" until they later found out that it was actually controlled by the pineal gland.
The pineal gland secretes melatonin, which is a powerful antioxidant, controls blood sugar, sleeping, controls pituitary gland for example.
(NaturalNews) For years we have been told to avoid the sun due to the "damaging" effects of UV radiation. The newest research has shown that the sun's rays do much more good than harm. The sun's ability to charge our bodies with vitamin D makes it extremely powerful at minimizing free radical damage and maintaining moisture in the skin. Aging well is absolutely dependent upon healthy sun exposure.
Many experts believe that Vitamin D is incorrectly named. Vitamins are substances that are crucial to normal everyday life function, but cannot be synthesized in sufficient quantities by the body. However, your skin has the ability to manufacture as much as 10,000 IU of Vitamin D after 20-30 minutes of summer sun exposure.
Vitamin D more resembles a hormone than vitamin by function. Hormones are chemical messengers that interact with cell receptors to produce specific biological responses. Calcitriol, the active form of Vitamin D, is arguably the most powerful hormone in the body. It has the ability to activate over 2,000 genes (roughly 10% of the human genome).
The Pleiades are a cluster of beautiful, dazzling stars located in the constellation of Taurus. With a telescope, you can see about one-hundred stars. Without a telescope, you can see only six or seven stars. According to ancient legends, the stars are said to be sisters and the daughters of Atlas. The entire Pleiades cluster is actually the eye of the bull in the constellation of Taurus..
The seven bright stars that helped guide Greek sailors are: Alcyone, Merope, Celeno, Taygeta, Sterope, Electra and Maia. They have been known for thousands of years, surrounded by fascinating legends and stories even to this day. The American Indian Religious Freedom Act was passed in 1979. Amazingly enough, up until that time, Native Americans were illegally forbidden to practice their traditional rituals and ceremonies. You may wonder what Native Americans have to do with the Pleiadians, but the stories are in their legends, much of which has been encoded, kept secret or hidden. In certain Cherokee legends, it is said that their people originated in the Pleiades long, long ago. They claim to have come to this world as Starseeds to bring Light and knowledge. If the stories are true, then modern day Cherokee, as well as other Native Americans, and many of us with Native American blood contain Pleiadian genes!

a whole new world awaits those with faith, a realm to be entered each night and to eternity. Karma, Chakras', meditation and clairvoyant abilities should be embraced. Do on earth as in heaven, this is the word. With open mind seek the synthesis knowledge held by those who influenced the beginnings of the bible we know today (yet, the message has been highly distorted).

This is all explained in a book called The Jesus Mysteries by Timothy Freke and Peter Gandy- This will show the knowledge to be held in the gnostic sect, the same knowledge held by the ancients. Once fact influences belief, then seek the word of Samauel Aun Weor (pdfs found online), he will show you the light.
Do not do as I say, do what you feel.
