I am pretty brave, I enjoy the rush from bungie jumping, coaters etc.

I am not sure I would have had the stones to take that step off the platform. I would have been knocking knees and stomache in my throat, frozen in place, probably unable even to climb back in.

This guy has got my respect, this was no small step for man, it was a giant leap for mankind. -in honor of Neil Armstrong, God speed, and may your journey be ever pleasant!

A more proper definition of Awesomeness has been restored today.

It seems for Felix Baumgartner it never really was a question. I dont know if i catched that correctly, but before he went through the check up/preparation procedure with Kittinger he said something like: "Let me jump already!"

That tiny capsule scared him more than the jump lol. Seeing him pull out of that nasty flat spin was a relief to all. He did the jump like only a pro could have.

Very nice and brave but..... mission control...
...what TF are all these people doing behind those consoles...If you'd ask me they also have a guy for the tire pressure of the car that brought him to the capsule.
