Hi res pics of Turkish / Syrian border would be nice. They trying to start another war there.

As far as I'm concerned google sucks. The images I get are old. Older than my years gone pickup truck in front of my house. Try it and see. Look up some stuff in your hood and see how old the images are.

Indeed. Stupid to have it censored, thereby drawing attention to it in the first place. The best secrets are kept in open sight without making anything special of them.

Perhaps this is a staging area for off road vehicle recreation. Hence the trails off into the woods. Lots of designated ORV land in OR.

They forgot Roswell, New Mexico too. Doesn't this look bit faked picture:

Why are the Faeroe Islands listed? I've just had a look and the only 'odd' thing about them is that the high res aerial photos were obviously taken at different times of the year and a small part hasn't had any flyovers at all as yet (perhaps there was hill fog on the day they were filming?). But then, the same was true of Scotland until recently.

btw I hope ATSers are intelligent enough to realise that the reason there are no high res aerial photos of the whole of Antarctica is because of the cost and practicalities of taking such photos of mostly featureless ice!

Given the cost of taking the photos and the fact google earth/maps is totally free, what do you expect? I'm just amazed they've covered so much of the planet now.

part of the same tactic as polarization you see on the media, the same reason the cia actually lets little secrets slip here and there from time to time, they are trying to create two sides in this country, those who think one thing and those who disagree, divide and conquer, they let us see that there are things being censored so that those looking will begin to mistrust them and those who are not looking will not, and if those of us try to show the others theyll just say, "look its only an empty parking lot"

Hi Sinny, no neither can I AND you won't find Niburu either on google sky it's blacked out just like Antartica oblong shapes block them out so why hey.

As for something like Laguna Seca, there would be copyright/design rights that the owner wants to keep, meaning the right to the shape and look of the track, the layout, belongs to the track owner. Remember, they paid someone to design and build it, so they own it.

For google to take that design and publicize it so that Google can make money off it would violate the copyright. In essence, Laguna would have paid tons of money for the design, then Google "steals" it (piracy is the actual term), pays no money, but makes money off it.

As for the rest of the sites, who knows?

Can I get the coordinates to these places?? I'll check them up on Google Earth

Thanks for the post OP... you have to wonder about some of these sites as blurring them out doesn't make much sense. As for the others, aren't our governments supposed to be transparent to their people? Why would they would want to hide HAARP and others alike. I understand to a certain extent but I still find myself questioning certain things. Oh well, thanks for the entertainment and the blurred spots now embedded in my mind.

I had to look this up myself on Google Earth just to see if I saw the same thing.

It looks completely fake to me....I wonder whats really going on....

I expect to be as well informed as the decision makers. I am after all affected directly by their mistakes. Theres only 10,000 satellites and a 100 agencies collecting daily daily. I want to See the evidence for their BS claims in the news. Not just told what I am supposed to know.

That's the point. We have high level satellite imagery of everywhere. But planes don't fly everywhere in the planet so there are still gaps in the high res data.

ah so your saying the only images that are hi res are done by planes, and all satellite imagery is very low res,

still doesn't explain the utter lack of satellite imagery of the poles

not to mention that they most certainly do have hi res abilities on their satellites
