You have to remember most people aren't objective at all nor did they approach this debate in an objective manner. Everyone has their prejudices. Very few people on this thread have actually presented an objective opinion. Most people on this board today are right wing. ATS has become Breitbart central, so it's no surprise this is what we are seeing. They can't admit Obama might be good at anything.

Sour grapes.
Obama bit the big enchilada. Keep your fingers crossed. Maybe Romney will suck next time. Then you can play "boo-yah" and do a happy dance in our faces.

Not trolling. Just pointing out that the messiah has feet of clay and it is showing. He couldn't hide behind telepromptor, hide behind the press, he had to stand on his own.

And the fans of Obama are in a snit.

It's funny! All the hype, the build-up, the drama, the predictions and instead of Mathews getting a tingle up his leg, he felt a trickle DOWN his leg. Obama disappointed every pundit, fan, follower of his and it is fun to watch! Even if Obama wins, this debate will shadow him.

Cause I'll find a way to bring it up every chance I get!

Anyone that knows me on here knows that I am no supporter of the POTUS on any level. But, even I know that he is a prolific speaker and a master with words and spinning things to make him look favorable. He really blew it last night, which shocked me. I believe after watching, he threw the debate. But we have to question why he would do this - what reasons could he possibly have?

I am not a Romney supporter and think they are both pawns. I've felt deja vu the last year as when J.Carter tried to win re-election and was up against Reagan. I see a lot of correlation between Carter and Obama. They both destroyed America's reputation overseas. I was a teenager, traveling through Europe and living in Saudi Arabia during the Iran Hostage time. American's are not used to feeling like losers or having our President act like we are second best.

I never liked Obama's socialism. I came to the realization years ago that when the ptb want a big war, they put a Republican in office because they are war mongers and willing to go to war and act like Hawks. When the ptb want to institute some new social program, they put a Democrat in office. Well, we are going to have WWIII whether we like it or not. And Obama will never be able to sell or defend a war against the Middle East. Now, we have the other bonus of making a crisis. You know that the black community and race baiting media will accuse conservatives of being racist and when the anointed one is voted out of office there very well may be riots in some areas. This plays into the ptb hands to crack down on people.

Let's look at another option which we won't know is true until the election, but imagine a bunch of Black Panthers at voting precincts. I can imagine there could be massive disturbances on Nov. 6.

And we still have the October surprise which could be almost anything. LA sinkhole could blow which is the equivalent of over 200+ Hiroshima bombs going off. It could be a nuke going off in the Middle East. It could be a number of things. I wouldn't want to be a puppet President in 2013.

Yes, Obama could be wanting to lose, but I don't think he wants to be humiliated. What if he knows Soros has the voting machine tallys in his back pocket and can throw the election his way, is this why he is smirking? Is he saying in his head, "Nice shot Romney, it's just too bad I've already won!"

Obama gets crushed,so he must have thrown it right.
No sale.
This country needs fiscal responsibility and less government.Thats what Romney represents. While I do not love Romney or completely trust him (or any politician) I certainly lean towards the principles conservatism as opposed to the liberal far left of the democratic party.Wether or not Romney will be able to govern effectively with these principles at the forefront of his policies,I do not know. However after four years of failed policies and failed leadership,I believe its time for a new plan.

Obama's record speaks for itself. The president has had four years to make progress on our failing economy. The numbers and studies I've seen show that his policies have had little to no positive impact,and/or have contributed to the fall of the U.S. economy. The president has broken so many promises from his 2008 campaign and presidency that one can argue that he has flat out lied repeatedly to the American people.

Now I am only about 30 years old, however I never remember this country being so divided. It is my opinion that Obama, his policies and political rhetoric have greatly contributed to this great division of the American people.
For that alone one can argue he should be fired,he is not presidential when dealing with partisan issues. Now I do not believe this or everything is Obama's fault. This is a very difficult job especially with the current issues in this country and the rest of the world. To be frank after four years his record says it all.

When I look at what Obama has done the past four years and listen to his ideas and rhetoric I think he has been awful. When I look at Romney's record and listen to his ideas and rhetoric,I have some hope for real change.
Can Romney be a terrible president, yes he could.Has Obama been a terrible president, yes he has.
Can Romney be a great president, yes he could. Can Obama be a great president,no not with his record already.

All of this is opinion,no hate from me.I just want to see my country head in the right direction.
Democrat,Republican,Libertarian... whatever I just want to see our elected leaders doing their jobs and doing them well, serving the best interest of the country and its people.I do fear its too late and that this house of cards is about to fall.

He failed because his domestic policies are potty-mess! (sorry about the swear)

It, in reality, was an impossible debate for him to win.

High unemployment
Credit rating downgrade
Record foodstamps
Falling dollar
Low GDP
High inflation

ad nauseum

It'd be like having a debate on beating tiny kittens with spatulas. How could you argue FOR it?

The Commission does not allow third party candidates. There will a third party candidate debate hosted by Democracy now on the 23rd though.

I was thinking the same thing. More of just a feeling really. I honestly do not think that he wants to remain in the White House another 4 years. There may be different reasons for this, and it is impossible for us to say for sure. Maybe he thinks he will be outed for something, which is possible. Or maybe, he is just sick of it all. Most politicians usually try to get what they can from the system before they leave, and I doubt he will be hurting for cash either way.

Or maybe he knows the collapse is inevitable. My main concern regarding the upcoming election has not been that Obama will win...It is that Romney will win. At least I know what to expect with Obama, although I think Romney is going to just mess things up further. People have said it wasn't Bush's fault regarding what's been happening during Obama's term, but I guarantee you...I GUARANTEE YOU, that Obama will get blamed for Romney's shortcomings with regard to fixing what is broken.

You saw the movie 2012 ?

IMO , Obama is just playing like the black president of the united states who was going to die in the earthquake.

Obama has done many wrong thing that will not help him be reelected.

recently he neglected Zionists.

And then he is appearing as a loser on the stage.

This is very strange and I am glad you made this thread and you saw this.

I think he is playing the suicide black president , now.

Maybe they have told him that he should go.

Maybe he was not warmonger enough.

Gifted

When people can't be objective - it shows their thinking process and gives away their bias

I spent a good chunk of last night listening to the analysis of what just happened

People were a little shell shocked - all kinds of people

This wasn't an Emperors new clothes moment - you should still be asking yourself what the hell just happened

If you're a thinking person that is

This guy used a teleprompter to talk to 6th graders..."hey kids you didn't build that"...what a joke.

I have been saying the same thing for a while; They know something we do not, and that is why they are spending like there is no tomorrow. Not just the US, everyone. The spending and new laws they are putting into place do not make sense.

I believe Obama is just another puppet on the row of puppets POTUS. Something must have happened he is not very fond about and his hands are tied to do anything about it. What comes to mind is the situation what antimuslim movie caused in ME and now when there is a issue between Turkey and Syria at the same time Obama gives lousy performance on debate.

He knows something and he doesn´t want to be a part of it.
