Work is good thing, it keeps people active, but working for nothing is wasteful and pointless

We work our asses to the bone to earn worthless paper or even more worthless digital "credit" to buy stuff we do not need that is made by people who are in more bondage than us with resources that are dwindling minute by minute which only REALLY benefits the very few in this world..

I spoke about this a few times. They wonder why there are no jobs out their when large corporations have been given free labour for the last 4 years. Illegally up until now (which is still a crime IMO).. They caught in 2011 telling everybody theu were forced to work 8 weeks mandatory, turns out they lied through their teeth.

going out and working 37.5hrs a week will more than likely leave you worse off

Whilst I disagree with the schemes you are talking about. Your comment above shows the problems that we face.
For some reason, Labour decided to give the scroungers MORE than people who work full-time hours (presumably because lazy scroungers are their natural constituency).
We urgently need to cut housing benefits, tax credits and benefits so that working full time pays more than not working or only working part time.
Misguided, child-hating ,socialists oppose the cuts so the Government are forced into these ridiculous schemes to try and redress the balance.

Cameron and his cronies are determined to eradicate all the social gains and benefits our fathers and grandfathers gained.
This programme started with Thatcher and her destruction of our manufacturing base and has been continued by every single administration since.
This will only cease when the NHS has been privatised and the welfare state completely dismantled.
The introduction of the minimum wage and the inundation of migrant workers from Eastern Europe has helped contribute to a society where workers are paid a pittance for their services and skills - all whilst ensuring a massive increase in profits for the elites who control the economy.
These obscenely wealthy bankers and corporate whores etc then proceed to do everything possible to evade paying taxes, to the tune of £120billion annually.
Meanwhile those unable to work for whatever reason are demonised by the politicians and MSM and protrayed as scroungers, leeches and a burden on society thus enabling Cameron to target society's vulnerable and most needy with apparent impugnity whilst ignoring the much larger drain on this nations resources of tax evasion and avoidance.
Money and resources are being bled out of this country at an alarming rate as bankers and the wealthy refuse to invest their obscene fortunes in this country, it's infrastructure and more importantly it's people.
We need to get people back to work, in real jobs, paying a fair days wage for a fair days work - that will never happen when we have a political system that is obsessed with maintaining the gravy train for the politicians and their financers and puppet masters and that put's their financial gain and personal advancement before the wishes and well being of the country and it's people.

I disagree, we urgently need to start paying proper wages. Did you not read the part where i mentioned the minimum wage has never risen above or on-par with inflation? Wages have stagnated, living on £56-70 a week is a bare BARE minimum. People deserve more than 6.50 an hour, this is an expensive country to live in!
We should be building more affordable housing for the people who do go out to work so they dont have to pay private landlords half their wage just for a roof over their heads.
So far all the conservative party have done with their time in power is made the rich richer and that trend looks set to continue with the privatization of the NHS. Labour are a joke. Libdems? I'd rather vote a 6 year old into office.edit on 30-9-2012 by SearchLightsInc because: (no reason given)
