That's too simplistic. Every society needs a Police force to maintain order or you'll have gangs of thieves and violent people harming the rest of society.

A charge is a violent action, there is no possibility of controlling or predicting how it will end for the attacker or the defender. This is why when the police is really intending a charge they use cavalry...

If you see someone confronting you and charging you, do you really turn your back on him. The police is trained (or should be, that video is very strange as they were not even well equipped) to act like a roman flange, forming a shield wall and retreating slowly, even going full testudo formation if under missile attacks, normally the last line will cover with rubber bullets or in case of an overwhelming aggressive change, live rounds.

One should keep in mind the Monday, May 4, 1970 Kent State shootings also known as the May 4 massacre or the Kent State massacre (Kent State University is in the U.S. city of Kent, Ohio). I understand that the weapons mentality is different in Europe but it still is a possibility even if the police has a greater level of certainty that the crowd is not armed...

Two men who were present related what they saw.

Unidentified speaker 1: "Suddenly, they turned around, got on their knees, as if they were ordered to, they did it all together, aimed. And personally, I was standing there saying, they're not going to shoot, they can't do that. If they are going to shoot, it's going to be blank."
Unidentified speaker 2: "The shots were definitely coming my way, because when a bullet passes your head, it makes a crack. I hit the ground behind the curve, looking over. I saw a student hit. He stumbled and fell, to where he was running towards the car. Another student tried to pull him behind the car, bullets were coming through the windows of the car."
As this student fell behind the car, I saw another student go down, next to the curb, on the far side of the automobile, maybe 25 or 30 yards from where I was lying. It was maybe 25, 30, 35 seconds of sporadic firing.
"The firing stopped. I lay there maybe 10 or 15 seconds. I got up, I saw four or five students lying around the lot. By this time, it was like mass hysteria. Students were crying, they were screaming for ambulances. I heard some girl screaming, 'They didn't have blank, they didn't have blank,' no, they didn't."

Killed (and approximate distance from the National Guard):
*Jeffrey Glenn Miller; age 20; 265 ft (81 m) shot through the mouth; killed instantly
*Allison B. Krause; age 19; 343 ft (105 m) fatal left chest wound; died later that day
*William Knox Schroeder; age 19; 382 ft (116 m) fatal chest wound; died almost an hour later in a hospital while undergoing surgery

The reference that I used was only to illustrate how a violent police does not even need provocation and will get political/judiciary cover for the action, they will are often working and depending on the same boss. Also to educate and remember history...

The people in here going "what a pussy move, wait till he's alone and then get at him", did you even watch the entire video? 90% of it is 5 or more cops dragging a single guy towards their cute centre only to beat and kick the individual a little more in a place that is safer for the cops. How do you justify this? People are people, they can make mistakes, like kick an off-guard cop, but cops? They are supposed to set the example, if you lead by example with violence, you can damn well expect the people to follow. Unlike what most believe, people are not always sheep, they can and will stand their ground, they have done so in the past, and will continue to do so. No amount of fluoridation and food poisoning can numb the population enough to stand idle when a bunch of pigs drag a single person from the crowd only to beat him up when he's on the ground, when it becomes "us vs them" people WILL pick a side, as shown in this video, and many other so called riots.

They should form groups of about 10-15 people per cop and start dragging them away into the night.

Was kinda thinking that. There are so many people, if they rushed the cops they could do a divide and conquer manoever, surrounding and isolating small pockets of cops and keeping them tight in so they cant do anything. Would not need lots of violence, just tight containment. Remove the batons from the cops whilst in tight groups and stream them out into the 'cop pen' and keep them contained. That would certainly get the point across as to who is stronger with less violence.

The world is made of two kinds of people, those who are willing to even kill for the money and the power, and those who just want to be left alone to live a peaceful life.....
WOE betide those who do the kicking and beating for the masterss if the people get mad enough.....the longer this kind of violence is practiced on those who protest, the more chance that the people will finally rise up.........

No, I'm one of those "socialism does not work" and "the best person to help you is yourself" type people. The reason why Spain is in such distress is that people voted themself entitlements but didn't want to work for them. WHen the money runs out, so do the entitlements. If they put all of that energy from the protest, into making themselves better, they could. BUt hard work is for suckers. THe biggest problem of socialism is that you eventually run out of other people's money.

You totally miss the point navy doc, the European parliament is an illegal entity in itsef, you have no idea how much theft has taken place within the parliament itself by those that control it.
Theft that is then heaped onto the backs of the people.
For the parliament to even exist it is stated in the treaty of Rome, they must sign off on the accounts for the EU every year.
In the seventeen years that has meant to happen every single year, it has not happened once.
I am dissapointed even with the dearth of information available, and the blatantly obvious amounts of money that have been squandered by governments on both sides of the Atlantic, that people can still believe the fault is with the people and who they voted for.
They didn't ask for this mess, this mess is part of as larger plan to bankrupt the countries in the EU and forge an unpayable debt bond between them, debt is the one thing the bankers and elite ofd the planet like to see the people under at a national level, it means they are owned, literally with no hope of ever seeing fiscal freedom again, EVER.

I suggest you watch this and educate yourself, i know much harder than blaming "Entitlement", nevertheless, it is something worthwhile doing if you want to be seen as being fair minded and not just interested in blaming those who have absolutely no control over what happens.
