I see it as only one of two possibilities:



  1. It will be a normal day. The Mayan calendar will just end (as I believe it will), and another cycle, or whatever it's called, will begin. Everyone looking to profit from, yet another, end-of-the-world spiel will move on to the next one to get everyone up in arms over. Rinse, repeat. It makes life interesting, so I won't complain over it.
  2. The "prophecies" were correct. Well, it won't really matter then, will it? To me, even if you can survive after this prophecy actually occurs leaves much bigger concerns...for me, anyway. It tells me that my entire existence is mapped out and no matter what I do, it's predetermined. I'm merely a conscious puppet plodding around on a stage, directed by someone I can't see, and have no idea of their intent(s). Or maybe we are in another plane of existence that has already occurred in another slice. Maybemaybemaybe...
