I Just saw a meteor cross the sky!!!!

Good evening ATS, this is just awesome!!!

I was sitting outside with my wife having a smoke and we saw this bright flash of light right in our face and then a bright light crossed the sky!

it seems to me that when it penetrated our athmospere, it ignitted (the flash) and burned accross the sky!!!

the most beautiful thing I have ever seen!!

I am really sad that I could not film it

I live in the Ottawa area and was looking East, South-East it was 20h27 approx when it happenned!

Did anyone else see it?

I don't think it was the same one though, when I seen this one, it seemed to burn out over The Irish sea / Ireland / Scotland (as also verified by an Irish member)

The British Isle sightings were of the same object. The one in Canada would be a different one.

Saskatchewan here, I have only ever seen one before. It looked greenish and almost like the movies, flash and almost looked like it had smoke around it, then it was just gone. Wish I could record memories and upload them! Will be watching tonight though! Thanks!

I saw a big one about three weeks ago. I was outside from work for a smoke.
I figure it could've been big cuz i saw it though a tree but i don't usually see these things.
