Hmmm this is something you don't see every day? Actually defining who was at fault? Not taring everybody with the same stick....................are things finally changing? I am lost for words?

The US secretary of state has blamed a "small and savage group" for the attack on the US consulate in Benghazi in which four Americans were killed.

Speaking in Washington, Hillary Clinton said that it was not the people or government of Libya that should be held responsible and that "Libyans stood and fought to defend our post".

Meanwhile, President Obama has ordered a tightening of security at US diplomatic posts around the globe.

Should we be worried? At least when the kids are yelling at each other you know what they're up to, when they go quiet it's always something bad.

"We came. We saw. He died. Ha ha ha!" Hillary Clinton.

Remember that? Hillary is a monster with a black heart. Are you actually praising her?

They dont know how to respond yet.... If anything they dont want to admit what this really was because it means they need to retaliate or look weak.. cant look weak, so blame a ''small and savage group'' because it doesnt justify an unwanted, costly and risky retaliation.

I mean, it doesnt sound like a rag tag group.. heavy weapons, sustained and continued assault and 4hrs of gun battles until the US and Libyans finally took back control.

At about 10 p.m.the compound housing the American diplomatic mission came under fire "from unidentified Libyan extremists," one of the officials said. Just 15 minutes later, the attackers had breached the perimeter and trained their fire on the main building, setting it ablaze.

"They became separated from each other due to the heavy, dark smoke while they were trying to evacuate the burning building, They were unable, however, to locate Chris before they were driven from the building due to the heavy fire and smoke and the continuing small arms fire."

At 10:45 p.m., security personnel tried to retake the main building but were repelled. At 11:20 p.m.,

By 2:30 a.m., Libyan forces helped the Americans to take control.

It looks like she's doing a total CYA.

Reading between the lines - "our assistance? in the liberation of Libya was a good thing - we didn't unleash al quaeda, anti-american sentiment and complete chaos here - this was just a small group......"

Ragtag group of Mossad agents dressed as Libyans, but, of course, there will be no proof of this. Were any of this bunch killed?

Hilllary's car was pelted with rotten fruit and whatever else people could muster and not cross the line to the level of threat to be outright shot, while in Egypt. Her car then was the object of gunfire and at least one hit while in Israel....from a car that sped off and last I knew, never found.

...and she says it was a small group? This compound and 2 Embassies with one being clear off in another nation....but it's just a rag tag bunch of punks with no coordination? Yeah.... Gadaffi thought that too, at first. We could ask him how that worked out....but he's not available for comment and never will be again in this plane of existence. He learned HARD.....how wrong he was. I pray we wise up before being forced to endure a similar lesson in full color with tapes sent to every media outlet in the world.

Hillary: "small and savage group"....

and just the way she "emphasized" that phrase is the tilt of her hand.

the slow talk in her "statement" is also a dead giveaway that she may have actually expected these attacks.

I bet Hillary had better intel because I think the White House is over-burdened with campaign issues and Obama was caught off guard.

and btw, guess who will be ultimately held responsible (besides Obama of course)?

The Secretary of State, and by extension, the Chief of Mission (COM), are responsible for developing and implementing security policies and programs that provide for the protection of all U.S. Government personnel (including accompanying dependents) on official duty abroad. This mission is executed through the Bureau of Diplomatic Security (DS). Personal and facility protection are the most critical elements of the DS mission abroad as they directly impact upon the Department’s ability to carry out its foreign policy. With terrorist organizations and coalitions operating across international borders, the threat of terrorism against U.S. interests remains great. Therefore, any U.S. mission overseas can be a target even if identified as being in a low-threat environment.

As a result, DS is more dedicated than ever to its mission of providing a secure living and working environment for our Foreign Service colleagues as they implement foreign policy and promote U.S. interests around the world. Nearly 800 DS special agents serve in regional security offices at over 250 posts worldwide. The DS special agents, also called regional security officers (RSOs) when serving abroad, manage security programs and also provide the first line of defense for our personnel, their families, U.S. diplomatic missions, and national security information. RSOs serve as the primary advisor to the COM on all security matters by developing and implementing security programs that shield U.S. missions and residences overseas from physical and technical attack.
Securing Our Embassies Overseas

IMO, I think that "small and savage group" is actually a Big and well organized group !!!

Much bigger than they want you to know !!

Sounds to me.....like we're at war whether we like it or not. They chose us, if this reads right and turns out to be accurate.

WASHINGTON - Intelligence experts and U.S. government officials are starting to view the attack in Libya that killed U.S. Ambassador Chris Stevens and three others in Benghazi as a coordinated attack.

Congressman Mike Rogers, R-Mich., went as far Wednesday to say the attack had all the hallmarks of al-Qaida.

"This was a coordinated attack, more of a commando style event. It had both coordinated fire, direct fire, indirect fire," Rogers said following an intelligence briefing on Capitol Hill.

What is it with 9/11 and these people? Is it some magic date we just don't get told about in the West or what?? I mean into history, it's a quirky little detail. This sounds serious though...and damn them but it makes sense too.

The protesters tied up the security at the main Embassy in Tripoli... NO backup coming from there, if they could have gotten a call out with time and Cairo was an attempt to recreate the sacking of the Israeli Embassy where their people in their panic room lived.

So what gets over-run next? Now they see what I've always feared they'ed figure out eventually. U.S. facilities can be over-run and lightning bolts won't smyte them from some super weapon that doesn't exist.....and the media goes bananas. This sucks..and I think it's about to get real wild for the U.S. for awhile.

the USA's 1st official statement was an apology for the free-speech movie by one of our citizens

Yeah, there is always a core of individuals that stir up a larger group of protesters... but it is turning out that the roudy protesters were used as cover for the murderous perps that initiated the protest in the 1st place

tightning security ?... does that mean he is signing off on more Drone Assassinations...will the intel agencies get ahold of tapes/videos/CCTV of the embassy ruckus--and put the face recognition Drones in the skies of North Africa to kill all those that entered the Embassy
