Life is just one big long punishment for some people.

Why?

Because they aren't supposed to exist. They were never meant to be born.

So God must punish them in any way he can.

You can't get a job. You can't have a girlfriend. You can't have a driver's license. You can't get a car. You can't have this. You can't have that. Everything you believe in is wrong, even if its something everybody else believes in. You must be corrected at every opportunity just because you're wrong just because you aren't meant to exist and you should never have been born.

Why even bother with life?

If god was such a kind and loving god, why would he take this route? Tell you you're not supposed to have even been born and then punish you every chance he gets just because. It doesn't even matter if you believe in him and follow his rules. If he doesn't like you, you're fracked. You're nothing but a fly to have your wings burned off by a magnifying glass.

That's all life is. It's just one long punishment.

Nobody fracking cares. The only thing they care about is putting you down anyway they can because they're just so much better than you.

That's all life is about really. Punishing people just because they can.

Life is just one long punishment for eighty years.

And there's no real difference in heaven. You're not really going to go to a better place when you die. it'll just be the same crapload over and over again for all eternity.

Heaven might as well be hell. There is no real difference. I just can't see any.

Why then bother?

Just remember. Everything is all your fault and it's all in your head.

Nobody else is to blame, just you.

So shut the frak up. Stop the whining. Take it like a real man. Sit down and shut the frak up.

Yeah.

That's all life really is.

Life is life. Everything else is your interpretation of it. If that's the life you see, that's the life you live.

To be fair, mass youth unemployment is a fact of life for young people now. Even getting a job in McDonalds is no longer easy and that is hardly a career.

It was tough to get on when I was young. Very tough.

It's much tougher for young people today and its far too easy for older people to not appreciate that.

Now, I don't believe in heaven and hell in the traditional sense, but I do believe that whatever comes after this life has to be better than anything on this earth. Everything during "earth life" seems so irrelevant to me, so I've come to believe that there must be something better after this. Some greater purpose in the universe. I think the only reason souls come to earth is to learn painful lessons. Because, really, earth life isn't that great.

Heaven and hell may indeed be interchangeable. Maybe it all depends on a souls perception?

Keep your head up! Life may seem crappy, but it's crappy because your soul had something to learn from this life and these experiences. Trust me, I've had a pretty sucky earth life so far, and I'm not even at a quarter century yet!
The only thing that keeps me going is knowing there is something more fulfilling after this life.

I think people are miserable because there's something they gain from it. It's TOTALLY up to us whether we choose to be happy or miserable. Life is neither good nor bad, wonderful or terrible. Life just is. Some people make the best of it and others make the worst of it.

No matter HOW many bad things happen to a person, they can still choose happiness. There's just something "in it" for those who choose misery. Whether it's sympathy, not having to work hard, not having to look at their issues or whatever. If someone is miserable, it's because they're getting something from it.

I hope this person you're speaking of isn't you. Because if you're here, you were meant to be here. And there's stuff for you to learn and do.

See, this is taken from the perspective that THIS was the life we, or even HE ordered for us.

Why, when this is the test run, and there's an eternity waiting, would anyone want to treat this life like it's permanent?

No, I meant they aren't meant to exist period, and if they do then they don't get God's blessing.

Who decides if the person was supposed to exist or not? And how does the person know this?

Just because something escapes your understanding doesn't mean it wasn't meant to exist. I, for one, believe we're all here for a reason, even if it may only be mundane participation in prolonging the species, or simply to learn and experience, you know? You can make something of your life if you really try.

Society decides, of course. It's society that determines all the rules. And if you can't fit in, then get the frak out or it'll throw you out.

You have to conform and follow the rules of society. If you can't, then society doesn't want you and you should be gotten rid of. That's the way society works.

(By you I mean general you not anybody specific).

Or, you can bring about change in that society. Its incredibly hard, and takes decades, but it can be done.

Just look at Martin Luther and his 99 Thesis. Or Dr. King and the civil rights movement. Gandhi. Rosa Parks. None of them fit into the society they were born into, but they didn't let that stop them.

Yes, society can change over time, but there always has to be some sort of incentive. If there is no incentive there can be no change. And if society doesn't want to change, then it will not change. Society is exceptionally resistant to change.
