Before our liberties are eroded to a point close to that of Nazi Germany? Just curious to see if anyone has a rough idea of timespan ... I personally
see it within the next 5 years. Please God I am wrong.

Right now, no its not. However, if the FEMA protocols are triggered, we loose the entire constitution within 24 hours nationwide. Then what?

THere it goes again the Bush=Hitler statements. Well as dragonrider said once FEMA is enacted we can kiss our liberties goodbye.

As I mentioned, all it really takes is something that can be construed as a national emergency, that will trigger the FEMA protocols... from that
point on, our civil liberties are only 24 hours from exitinction...

It can possibly happen when there is a uprise and the people in the U.S. Revolts and when it becomes chaotic that's when FEMA takes over...

It will be slow and insidious, like they have been doing over the past 100 years. They dont do anything drastically. It started in world war 1, and
slowly, as to not attract attanetion they slip little thing after little thing right past us, as to not draw attention. They put the idea past us
first, dressing it in catchwords that certainly no one will object to, like Lo Jack in your car so they can track it if it gets stolen, cashless
currency ( law obiding people wont object, jsut think, no more losing money, its all eletronic, plus, with all eletronic currency, we can track
drugdealers and terrorists better, and only people who support such things would object, ebcause LAW ABIDING people have nothing to hide). They first
brush the idea by the public, touting it as a way for safety and security, and such. Like, implanting micro chips, what a great idea! We can track
abducted kids, or lost persons and bring them back home safely! How could anyone object to that! Then a few people will say, yes, great idea, it will
start volontarily, then, after enough people do it, they will say, well, since the majority is now doing it, its now time to make it uniformly
required by law, and make everyone so that we shall have uniformity! During this time, they lessen peoples aprehensions, like schooling, children will
be indoctrinated to accept it as ok, normal, and good, inevitable, makes the world better. The indoctrination will not stop.
Thats how they shall work it: slow erosion of healthy peoples instincts into a dumbing down and trust, then slip it in and the public will wlecome
with open arms. How many things they disguise under the flag of benevolence, security, progress, ect, that really are simply leading to greater
control.........
Id give it about maybe20 years, another generation, before it becomes total.

Skadi_the_Evil_Elf touched on the sublject of economic warfare as a means of oppression. What people will forget is that when wealth becomes just a
few bits on a hard drive then it can be taken from you by a few keystrokes. In the old days of gold coin (and then paper money), people could hoard
and hide some of their assets. This gave them a lot of independence if the king (or state) got too oppressive. Also the king had to send his jack
booted thugs to your house to seize you assets. If you hid your hoard well enough, they found nothing. Also jack booted thugs had their problems:
(1) the thugs expected to get paid and that was expensive, (2) sometimes the thugs got the idea that they should run the state since they were doing
all the dirty work, (3) often when the thugs did find the cash hoard the amount turned over to the king was much less than what was seized. (Remember
Waco? - there was supposed to be $40,000 in a safe at Waco which was never turned in. It just disappeared.)
Now we have bankers who are touting how with electronic transfers billions of dollars can be exchanged, how we no longer need cash as a means of
economic transfer. Note that all we have now is what is called fiat money. (Fiat money is money with no backing in a precious commodity such as gold
or silver). These bankers point out (with great pride) that now it is possible for you to live, work, pay your rent or mortgage, buy a car, invest
in your IRA, etc. without ever having to use cash or write a check. All financial transfers will be just the abstract transfer of bits from one
computer to the next. They will point out that you could live and work your whole life without ever using paper money. "Paper money is obsolete"
they will say. "Eliminate cash and you will eliminate crime" will be their cry. This will be enforced by laws making the possession of more than a
few dollars in currency for small purchases a serious crime. However what people will ignore will be that wealth that can be created by the transfer
of a few bits can be destroyed by the transfer of a few bits. Since all your accounts will be tied together by that number (Your SSN or your
company's TIN) and since every financial institution will be acessable via the internet. all your financial assets can be easily accessed by use of
that number. When that day comes, all the government need to do to wipe out the financial assets of any potential resistor, is to have a couple of
guys keying SSN's into a terminal. The rest of the procedure will be automated. The government need only to wipe the finances of a few key
resistance leaders and put them broke on the street with the homeless. When Mr. Joe Average sees what can happen, he will keep his mouth shut and do
whatever the government tells him to do.
