Hidden Symbolism In Team GB Olympic Logo?

Couldn't find this else where.. what do you make of this logo, perhaps a certain Egyptian eye that I'm sure many of you are familiar with. Or is it just coincidence and I'm seeing things?

Definitely is the Eye of Ra or Horus to me
