Hubby and I started going through the boxes and boxes of old magazines that were in the attic of our 110 year old home when we moved in. The image I link here is a composite of portions of page 16 of the May 27, 1963 edition of U.S. News & World Report.

Pretty interesting (and bizarre) stuff! 400 million needles in orbit and an undersea missile test site in the Bahamas!

ETA, that I think you are lucky to have such a stash of old news to look through! I love doing that when the chance comes along. It's weird to see how reporting the news has changed, how our ways of thinking have changed, etc. Soak it up!
