OMG ... they're spraying Chemtrails on Mars now.

John Holdren admits it.

I am happy they landed safe, and I hope everything will go alright.

Has anyone read up about the nuclear battery on board. I find it very interesting and hope the rover will be able to get some photos of the martian winter rather than having to power down due to lack of sunlight. Very exciting!

I'm just so glad we made it... wonder what they'll admit is up there? I heard we knew about possible water before we admitted it. Of course they could get more funds that way... IN THE NAME OF SCIENCE!!!

The moment that had my heart racing was as soon as they deployed the parachute. Awesome how everything went better than (as good as) they planned it to. I feel some pride knowing that their are Canadian made instruments on the Curiosity and they will be involved in this monumental moment.

Best moment of the night was during the celebration I heard someone loudly exclaim "Holy Sh*t"! Can't wait for the next few days, and now to start the conference... if they ever settle down.

lol..... when I first heard about it, said "Ho*y *h*t" but then the more I read, I realized we have been using it for years in other Nasa programs. There is a cool story about a russian lighthouse powered by it.

I think it is great ! But when are they going to give the public the UN-BLURRED photos in the vital spots? ! :^)
With out the ink blotches too!
Pus, I can do without the .gif photos in areas that there was civilization.

"this is a feat only the US could achieve"
"the Rover is made in the US"

Hmmm... gee. I wonder if there's a White House directive to use this Mars landing as beacon to bolster American nationalism

Man this was really exciting watching this all go down. I really wish I could work in what these people in the blue shirts do. Can anyone tell me what they studied to become what they are?
