"Then you contest the opinion of basically the entire intelligence community?”

So now you (the article) speaks for the entire intelligence community?
This is false in so many levels. If I relate to just the Israeli side, the debate is not whether or not Iran has a nuclear weapons program, but whether attacking them now or in the near future is the right thing to do, before exhausting all other options.
Iran was caught lying to the international community and the IAEA so many times, calling death to Israel and America, yet it's a western propaganda ? Strange...

"Israel should do the same. I don't see any international outcry to have them inspected. And they've threatened to start many conflicts. “

Israel isn't signatory to NPT and hasn't threatened the complete destruction of other nations.
This is just you ranting.

From the article:

"Furthermore, even if Iran did have nuclear weapons, there is broad consensus that it would not translate to nuclear war. Officials and elite analysts constantly explain Iran’s leaders are rational, unlikely to provoke a conflict, and have no interest in suicide as a result of nuclear retaliation by the US. The threat from Iran is manufactured”

How nice of people to seat comfortably on their comfy little chairs, a mouse in one hand and a beer in the other, and tell the world that Iran is no threat. Maybe when some ballistic missiles are pointed your way, you'd think differently.

If you go to the World Bank web site and do a search on Iranian power, you will find that for decades they were trying to get assistance to build hydro-power sites to meet their power needs. Over and over they tried to meet the recommendations set by the World bank and each time they were knocked back, only when they were left with no other options did they return to the abandoned nuclear power programmes started by Siemens in the early 1970s. The Iranians did not want nuclear, they were backed into a corner and left with no other option, and when they did revert to nuclear, they were suddenly offered help from Russia in order to do so. If they have nuclear weapons capability, then they have it because they were pushed to have it by the World Banks refusals to assist them towards clean energy sources, and energy sources that wouldn't provide any weapons grade by-product.

Agenda anyone?

o now you (the article) speaks for the entire intelligence community?

No, but the intelligence services involved:

The consensus in the whole of the intelligence community in the US (and Israel) is that Iran has no nuclear weapons program and has yet to demonstrate any intention of starting one anytime soon.

Here's a clever bit, the article contains other sources for it's information, you should probably read them
.

I'll hapilly link the stories that quote both Israeli as well as US intelligence offficials stating there is no credible threat.

This is false in so many levels. If I relate to just the Israeli side, the debate is not whether or not Iran has a nuclear weapons program, but whether attacking them now or in the near future is the right thing to do, before exhausting all other options.

No, the debate is clearly still whether or not they have a nuclear weapons program. Only Israel is saying that they do, The rest of the world pretty much agrees they don't yet.

What Israel did is jump to conclusions before any facts were made available.

Israel isn't signatory to NPT and hasn't threatened the complete destruction of other nations.
This is just you ranting.

Yet we all know they have nuclear weapons. Kind of hypocritical of them to demand something they have refused to do themselves isn't it? It's not me "ranting", these are the facts sir.

How nice of people to seat comfortably on their comfy little chairs, a mouse in one hand and a beer in the other, and tell the world that Iran is no threat. Maybe when some ballistic missiles are pointed your way, you'd think differently.

So I'm expected, to jump on a war monger's band wagon because of a 'what if '? Are you that easily scared into condemning thousands of people to die?

How easy it is for somebody to sit in a chair and claim that Iran IS a threat, based on information that indicates they are not.

They are a threat.
whether the threat is great enough that we pull an Iraq or Afghanistan that is up to those that can remote view or have crystal balls.
They are a threat.
If you can not see that, then the psychopathy, the preconceived, re-affirming, unyielding, entrenched, myopic world view you think the "war mongers" have...... is staring back at you in the mirror.

Sometimes, evil is evil. They want a nuke. If they want a nuke they will try and get a nuke. Any belief otherwise is so damn naive it is stunning.

No intelligence agency is saying they HAVE a nuke! Are we to wait until they DO? Then do we hope that a 70yr old Mullah is going to see....Jesus?

Imperial China is a very scary thought. They will soon have the resources, technological ability and international clout to do much of what the US does now.
Assuming this is a WAG?

When they start building military bases in European and Middle Eastern/African nations, I don't think people will be so non-chalante about it.
Yet another WAG? Can we have some links or news articles supporting this please?

China is just another boogieman that was created after the fall of the USSR. China is being empowered to keep the Asian region in check (actually to ensure US has access to the continent either through China or India).
