Does every one have to report to Jarrett instead of the President? And if so, how does he know she's giving him the straight scoop?

If I was going to cancel an operation I'd want the reason to come from the military or intelligence people, not some aide.

It seems she is the one who pulls all the strings. And yes, it's there's been considerable discussion that this president has mostly absent from responsibility. Hence the improvement in the golf game.

Obama actually wanted to wait a week before 11-06-12 to take out Bin Laden.

I have read that Obama even wasn't talking to his advisors and that the only people he listens to are Valerie Jarrett and David Axelrod. The implication that only a few people are giving him advice that he is willing to take. In Edward Klein's book, "The Amateur", he states, "Jarrett is ground zero in the Obama operation, the first couple's first friend and consigliere. Once asked by a reporter if he ran every decision by Jarrett, Obama answered without hesitation:'Yep. Absolutely.' "
