He definitely will not be bragging about it, just like he did with the weekly unemployment numbers, while telling people that the numbers will be criticized but forgot to add that household income have deteriorated, cost of living has gotten up and more people have applied for welfare and food stamps than ever.

Welcome to the hard working welfare class and growing, you are working but no been productive if you have to live with government assistance.

Thanks Obama for the job creation in the welfare class.

It's not like Obama walked into office while everything was running great he inherited a lot of this mess.

He didn't inherit it, he ran for and was elected President under the pretense that he would fix it, and now, rather than "lead" us out of this mess, he never misses a chance to remind us how it's all someone elses fault.

Excuses, excuses, excuses!

I'm sorry, but to me this does not a great leader make.

He applied for the job, he beat out the other guys and won the position, and now he's "severely" not living up to expectations. Out here in the real world that's usually enough to get you fired/replaced.

And according to James Carville the middle class has been hit by a truck!

What are Obamas plans to fix this mess if he gets re- elected ??????

He has none. He's not even telling Chris Matthews.

Todays Rasmussen Poll has Romney up by 5%

That's cute how you cherry pick one of the only polls that has Romney ahead. A highly biased GOP one at that.

Let me add a bunch of
since you seem to be a big fan of that emote, as if it alone makes your argument better.

Bingo!

Winners lead . Losers blame others.

Obama is blaming others.

He is in way over his head and belongs back in the teachers lounge in Chicago.

look what happened in 1985. Reagan created over 1 million jobs in just 1 month!!!

Rough Start? The economy fell off the cliff after Reagans tax cuts and spending and then only began to stabalize...years later... after he RAISED taxes 10 times....even that wasn't enough until Clinton...wait for it..raised taxes on the wealthy...and everyone prospered, wealthy and middle class.

Reagan was forced to raise taxes because his cuts didn't "pay for" themselves, as the mythology also insists -- and he didn't raise taxes enough to avoid a legacy of deficits that only Bill Clinton's 1993 tax increase on the top tier began to remedy. The Bush tax cuts, like Reagan's, set the nation on its current fiscal path, worsened by his multitrillion-dollar misadventure in Iraq. When the Republicans debate again, someone ought to test whether they will acknowledge those basic facts -- or whether they will insist on the "big lies" of Republican fiscal stewardship.

Look at the whole chart.

Reagan was one our best presidents. Everybody knows that.

Carter and Obama are the 2 worst presidents. Why is Chris Matthews

throwing a hissy fit?

A new report came out that says 200,000 small businesses disappeared from 2008 - 2010.

Where was Obama ? He claims this is trend has somehow magically reversed.

Washington Post

Recession wiped out 200,000 small businesses:More than 200,000 small firms disappeared in the heart of the recession between early 2008 and 2010, according to analysis of Census figures. That loss also cost the nation roughly 3.1 million jobs over the same period, putting an ever greater strain on the economy.

House approves measure to block new regulations: House Republicans on Thursday passed a bill to prevent the government from imposing new business regulations until the unemployment rate drops to 6 percent. The measure has little hope in the Senate but continues to frame each party’s main arguments heading into the elections.

Obama also reminds me of FDR.

FDR came into office and made everything worse. Then he blamed the previous

administration.

Sound familiar?

The United States is an economic superpower because of capitalism.

We are still the envy of the world.

4 short years of transformation didn't change that.

Are you sure?

I'm very pro-USA, but I don't think the world envies your economy anymore. China's growth rate is the envy of the world right now.

Job creation by administration..

Twenty-two million jobs were created during the Clinton administration.
[With a tax rate the same as Presient Obama has proposed for the wealthiest Americans]

Job creation data for each president since 1960, courtesy Wikipedia:
Kennedy-Johnson Administration: 5.9 million
LBJ administration: 9.9 million
Nixon's first term: 6.2 million
Nixon-Ford administration: 5.1 million
Carter administration: 10.3 million
Reagan administration (both terms): 16.1 million
Bush 41 administration: 2.6 million
Clinton administration (both terms): 22.7 million
Bush 43 administration: 1.95 million

Or put another way: From 1980 to the end of the Bush 43 administration, all three Republican presidents combined produced, over a period of 20 years, two million fewer jobs than Bill Clinton managed to eke out in eight.

You still don't get how these statistics work for politicians?

It is a GREAT thing for Obama for this quarter to be only 1.5% growth. That means when the next quarter numbers come out just before election time, and the growth is a dismal 1.8%, Obama will spin it as a 20% growth in the GDP!!

It is summertime, Americans are not watching the news, they're not in front of their televisions absorbing TV ads, they are enjoying the summer. They will come back in September refreshed, good morale, and Obama will be taking all the credit for it and spending all his campaign money on publicizing what he will spin as GREAT IMPROVEMENTS, while at the same time forecasting a record-breaking Christmas Season.

Yes, Fox Mulder i am!

By the end of 2012 the USA GDP will be around $16 Trillion !

Like it or not, the United States is an economic superpower.

We will get our - growth - back on track in 2013.

Over the next 8 years :

USA GDP will climb to $25 Trillion

At the same time:

USA National Debt will fall to $12 Trillion

All we need is another economic boom similar to what we saw during the 1990s

with the Dot.com boom.

Gross Debt to GDP ratio will fall to less than 50%.

When that happens Obama will slam his fist on the table and yell out 1 word.

" Damn !!! "

Doesn't have to be true, he'll believe it whole-heartedly!

Obama is done spinning.

He is buried in damage control mode right now.

According to Kimberley Strassel WSJ - "You didn't build that" has shifted the focus

to the president and his decision to respond to the criticisms has only legitimized them

and - guaranteed - they continue.

I can hear the fat lady singing.

Scott Rasmussen does his polls differently.

He polls likely voters.

If you honestly look back at past elections, you will discover that that is the secret

to Scott Rasmussens success.
