Can I add my two pence worth ?
I don't give a sh*t about all this conjecture regarding what will happen at the Olympics.
What I do know is that there will be a very large military presence in our Capital city and that in itself unnerves me , because it means that TPTB are expecting something to occur that may require a military response.
What strikes me is that whenever a large sporting event takes place in this country , we usually just hire extra marshals , so why the military this time ??????????

you get 'Escape from New York'
WE get this tonight
9.30pm
Mars Attacks!
(1996) Comedy. Jack Nicholson, Glenn Close. (M)
Interesting choice by the tv programmers who want to attract those not into the Olympics

Independence Day has been on Sky 1 or Sky 2 nearly every night for a week too.

Oh, no problem! haha. I don't take things too serious on here myself. ATS can be a bit humourless at times, I find.

Well, lets just say a dirty bomb or a nuke attack happens on Stratford. I'm outside of a blast radius but wind could blow fallout into my area quite easily. (but again, I think we wont be seeing anything happen).
Ironically, I live in the hills, sort of! haha.

Also, there is no electric fenced off area in London, Health & Safety would have a field day! Not unless you count the electric fences at the Zoo?
