UFOs Watch Atomic Bomb Blast 2012 HD

They are fixed balloons carrying instrument packages exploding from the thermal pulse of the bomb.

The footage is from one of the "Teapot" shots which hosted Operation Desert Rock, which was a series of exercises designed to prove the concept of infantry in a nuclear environment.

hmm, its hard to tell with that low quality video, id love to see a higher quality vid. In one of the vids i haven seen before with nukes the baloons get completly vaporised.

Okay, let's read the entire OP together, shall we?

A friend of mine brought this clip to my attention and I thought it worthy enough for ATS's to dissect it. He claims there are 3 UFOs lined up perfectly in the background.

Could someone offer up a logical explanation what these can be other than UFOs?

As usual, HA assumes that anything he sees in the sky is a UFO until proven otherwise. Rather than look for other photographs of nuclear weapons testing, or researching how the testing was done, he starts a thread asking us to do his research for him. What part of the OP did I miss? What part of my post was garbage? Are you claiming that the Army didn't use aerostats to monitor nuclear testing? Am I a tool for chastising the OP for posting without doing his due diligence? What does that make you?

The soldiers in that video could have been far enough away not to be in that much danger. I wouldn't be surprised if there were some possible radioactive effects from fallout (especially if they were downwind), but it certainly doesn't necessarily mean death to them.
