Ok so you have a possible instance of real life imitating art,it doesn't neccesarily follow that the episode quoted is a forewarning of things to
come.Has it been proven without a doubt that the WTC airliners were piloted/taken over by remote means prior to their hitting the towers?,even if it
were, all that would prove is that film makers strive for realism in their work.
yea that argument works except for one thing...
How many times where we told that this scenario was "Unthinkable" before 911? How many officials said they never even consider this type of
Hindsight is 20/20, to us now sure using planes as weapons to ram buildings seems pretty obvious, before 911 it was not... OR atleast thats what they
wanted us to think.
Because the CIA did think of it, project northwoods.
Operation Northwoods proposals included hijackings and bombings followed by the introduction of phony evidence that would implicate the Cuban
government. It stated: "The desired resultant from the execution of this plan would be to place the United States in the apparent position of
suffering defensible grievances from a rash and irresponsible government of Cuba and to develop an international image of a Cuban threat to peace in
the Western Hemisphere."
Right, nothing to see here move along...
oh wait this too.
One of the most fascinating aspects of Operation Northwoods involved the proposed hijacking of an American passenger plane. The JCS proposed that
a real plane containing American passengers would be hijacked by friendly forces disguised as Cuban agents. The plane would drop down off the radar
screen and be replaced by a pilotless aircraft, which would crash, purportedly killing all the passengers. Under the plan, the real passenger plane
would be secretly flown back to the United States.

Ok,very good point regarding how such an incident as the WTC hijackings was considered "unthinkable",however,Could I suggest that no government is
going to publicly announce, that they are concerned with a scenario in which a supposed "unhittable" target is compromised.
With Regard to Northwoods, quite frankly the CIA were notorious for proposing ever elaborate/nonsensical ways of destabilising Castro's Cuba, perhaps
Northwoods is one of the more realistic, but what of the passengers on the real airliner, were they planning on letting them go about their normal lives
after this event, had it taken place?
If an updated Northwoods plan was enacted to take out the WTC and/ or Pentagon using something like Shadowhawk technology,I suppose that solved the
problem with what to do with the real passengers on those aircraft, however, why would an administration like the US government require such a long and
involved deception ,such as that ,when they could have gone into Iraq ,or Afghanistan on a far simpler pretext, which didn't give rise to so many
conspiracy theories? why not stage a localised incident where, for example, they send the troops in to "oversee the safety of US citizens based in
