is there anyway I could get someone to help me make a good avatar ( I'm VERY new to photoshop ) and could us all the tips in the world

I just penned out the girl & did some lighting editing; I know it's not the "unusual" place for a quaint woman but I'll do that one soon. I wanted to test her out in a nice forest environment.

Whilst you are at it what are your thoughts about the following, regarding the other picture - I am thinking Victorian nostalgia here so bare with me.

Superimpose this as a background (similiar to what Agarta did with the Zodiac for TheAbsoluteTruth):-

and add to either of these Cameo Brooches:-





Might scrub up pretty well with your flare added to it.

By the way, what you did here with the first pic is just stunning - have already swiped a copy to laminate & use as a bookmark for the missus - thanks

I can understand why people lurk this thread. The ideas, contributions, and artistic ability of our membership is quite amazing. It's so impressive how one member makes a thread, offers a premise, and everyone else steps up to help.

Pretty much, you describe what you want, the imagery, the design. There are at least five expert graphic designers that lurk here and answer requests. Tell us what you want for an avvy, or at least give ideas. The rest of it is the amazing part.

You have a solid point, friend Druid LOL...I had to ask what a Troll was in my intro thread.

I'm almost afraid to speak much here for fear the mods will close the thread for wandering "off-topic". That would be a true loss for the site! SO much talent and comraderie here.
