it depends on what peoples perception of a surprise would be?

Look the prisoner will be notified at noon on the day of his execution, this means no matter what day the judge chooses the prisoner will not be surprised at all. On Monday by 11 he'll expect to be executed all the way to Thursday and if he makes it that far than it will certainly take place on Friday. The time of notification makes this a paradox and not necessarily the day chosen, or the day would simply be either Monday or Tuesday.

the year is 1788 edinburgh scotland a crowd of 40.000 watch as the man who has designed the gallows on which he is to be hanged [ hung by your own devices ] enters the english thinking the trap door opens and later he is sped away for disposel .2 years later the council of edinburgh open the grave to find it empty but for a book . robert louis stevensen will use this as a base for DR JEKYLL & MR HYDE .a hundred years to the day almost and the same bloodline are laying the foundation stone for the statue of liberty why did BILLY CONNELY leave this out of the move who knows william deacon brodie an interesting film . 131 years later a member of the same bloodline gives a fachist salute to the judge as he is led away for his protest about the hollie greigg case in aberdeen and the beat goes on
maybe not a paradox but it makes you wonder

I have an inkling of a feeling that something quite interesting is contained above.

Fragment much?
