while many democrats moan and groan about greedy corporations and how they own the government, damn near every policy/legislation the dems have supported, and/or passed into law, have benefited these corporations they hate so much.

the most recent example is obamacare. this law is "intended" to make the insurance companies rich. i will tell you why a little later. but first, a few more examples.

wind power. billions of tax dollars handed over to energy corporations.
solar power. even though solendra failed, they look like greedy corporatists to the masses.

car companies, and bank bailouts. greedy, inefficient corporations.

coal. while the obama administration has all but killed the coal industry with ridiculous regulations. these regulations will give the impression to the masses, who pay monthly electric bills, of greedy, gouging electric companies. it is a fact that in 2015, the price of electricity in northeast ohio is going to skyrocket to nearly 300% of the price today, because of the new carbon restrictive regulations.
www.theblaze.com...

oil companies. yes corporations flush with cash, selling a commodity everyone needs, and relies on.
last week the epa announces they will have new regulations ready by the end of the year for "fracking". which means the amount of fracking done inside the u.s. will dramatically decrease. which will then intentionally raise the price of oil/gas. again creating a narrative of greedy corporations.

add to that many things around the world like keystone, iran sanctions, and oil embargos.
the price goes higher. the corporation gets "greedier", and the masses get angrier. the left loves to play the oil-is-greed game. it fits their narrative, the narrative of socialism.

yes once this all comes to fruition, and the middle class is effectively destroyed, the dems will pit the rich against the poor. which they have been seeding durring this administration, leaving only one option. NATIONALIZATION

nazi polosi says the republicans are the mouthpiece of the insurance corporations, while she and her hacks conspire with these very same corporations to get obamacare through. in the end it will break the backs of the insurance industry leaving only one option. SLAVERY. oops i mean NATIONALIZATION.

Think with reason, not emotion...

I do wish that people could look back beyond the last 5 years. Seeing things so short-sighted solves nothing. This is a Dem AND a Repub issue.

And for the record, all of this started with Reagan....i forget, which party did he affiliate with?

Just for discussion, if Obama came out and said we are going completely revamp the healthcare system and mandate the single payer system which is many times more cost efficient than our current system. How do you think the republicans would have spun that one?

Ummmmm. You should read up on your history.
This tactic has been going on for decades.

Seems that both parties have been in office during this span.
Since 1980...........Republicans have held office 5 terms............to the Democrats 3.

Blaming any particular party in our two party political system, only shows ignorance.
Their all to blame. Especially most of us voters.

Looks like the op overlooked the fact the chief justice who switched his vote was a conservative. Bush give him the job and do you think Bush would give the job to a liberal?

I honestly believe that John Roberts either

a]. Grew a conscience

or

b] Got disgusted by how radical the GOP has become.

or maybe it was both a and b

you didn't answer my question. plus, your take on single payer is way off base.

Again, how would have the RNC spun a single payer program?

Well I'm convinced now. I'm convinced that people to lazy to use a spell checker shouldn't be trying to persuade others their opinions have any validity; because it just looks stupid and is actually detrimental to the conservative cause.

I only said that to get all the Rush ditto heads, hot and bothered.....

I'll give you an example of how you're wrong. If you're intelligent...just for a second, you'll see that the healtcare plan has nefarious plans in regards to insurance corps.
This bill is meant to bleed them dry by 2025.

oh you mean when fdr by means of the new deal forced corporations to provide insurance to their employees.
the result of that alone started the upward trend of healthcare costs...
