In 5 minutes we should have the decision from the Supreme Court. Personally I think the whole abortion should be scrapped, but Roberts has been known to bend over backwards in attempts to not make SCOTUS decisions appear political.

A repeal of the mandate, while a win against the government, only opens the door for more nefarious means of paying for the garbage left behind.

What exactly does that mean? The purchase of health insurance is considered a tax? How the hell are taxes used to purchase private insurance?

Individual mandate has been struck down.

It would appear this Republican orginiated proposol was not constitutional.

I'm not saying that they even knew it at the time, I am really bashing Obama for thinking he could use their ideas to get any of them to go along with the efforts the Democrates put into the bill.

I would guess the next step will be to expand Medi-car to every citizen. This actually makes a lot more sense.

The Medi-care program is just insurance bought by the government from the large insurance companies at bulk rates. This means everyone wins with the expansion of Medi-care to all.

Edit: Now they are talking about it being a tax. I just wish the could make up their minds.

I'm really not understanding the taxing provision myself ... of course until 5 minutes ago I never believed this goatrope would have stood constitutional muster. Big win for Soetoro ...
