SED Systems has the requirement for a Spacecraft Operator for the RADARSAT EArth Station facility located in Saskatoon. The Operator performs satellite tracking operations, routine and corrective maintenance of the 10 meter antenna and station equipment, along with other manufacturing related activities.

Preferred applicants will be a graduate of a 1-year Electronics Technician or a 2-year Electronics Engineering Technology program. Previous experience with RF systems or satellite communications systems and operations is an asset. The appropriate candidate will be able to work in an independent environment with little supervision as well as in a team environment. Shift work is required.

The ability to obtain a Secret security clearance and meet the eligibility requirements outlined in the Canadian Controlled Goods Program is mandatory.
