The amount of ignorance displayed in this post is ASTOUNDING.

It's amazing just how brainwashed people are.

The issue at hand here is NOT race, but rather the failure of Fast & Furious.

Take the blinders off.

F & F was not a botched operation. It was a deliberate attempt to further Obama's agenda to restrict second amendment rights by claiming American bought weapons were being used to kill Mexicans.

The only thing botched about Operation Fast and Furious is that the American public found out about it. Fast and Furious was carried out exactly as planned: allow straw purchasers to transfer guns to cartels, let those guns get trafficked back to Mexico and see where they end up. There was no plan to trace these guns and no plan to inform the Mexican Government of the operation, either.

Until you understand this, you are misinformed. Once you understand this, you will know that this scheme was spearheaded by the highest levels of the White House administration.

So they knew where the guns came from and planned to see where they ended up, yet didn't plan to trace them. You are right I don't understand this as would seem self contradictory

If you want to learn the truth, listen to Katie Pavlich who wrote the best selling book that investigated the scandal.

She is interviewed at approximately 4:45 here:

You do know the committed already has every single document about the operation...right??? They found nothing...their investigation is a failure.

That is why they are now demanding Holder to release documents that are part of an on-going criminal investigation....he can't legally release documents that are part of an on-going criminal investigation...so the Republicans claim "he is hiding something"...and all the idiots believe them.

So this is where we are at. Holder can't legally release these documents...it is ILLEGAL for him to do so. Republicans are telling him...break the law...or we hold you in contempt.

Seriously...are you that blind that you don't see what is going on???

The thing the right seem to keep ignoring is the fact that Obama has changed the way the Right and Bush have been doing things. The Bush Empire of Homeland Security , War on Terror , Hacking of Governments , Torture Camps is being over turned and in some case reversed. Take Lybia McCain was ready to give them weapons from our military. Lybia was given a terrorist back. Lybia was getting rich playing middle man of US intelligence and spying all over Africa. France wanted Lybia out because they allways thought they should have the control over Africa that Lybia had. And now when it comes to health care. The whole thing is a scam to get rich. They refuse to allow over sight of it because Medicare, Social Security, Insurance Companies, Doctors and the government in general are robbed blind every day through health care. And by keeping records sealed for patient client privileges allows the wildwest and the robbing to go on. That is the idea behind a lot of the bills Republicans want to over turn. They want the wildwest because it means money to them. No matter if its in banking, intelligence contractors, health care, or in political donations they want secrecy and the wildwest. Just take Romney the only reason he got the chance to run for the Republicans is he has a secret society and a secret cabal that is not publicly targeted for what it does. That secret society is LDS and BYU Brigham Young University a LDS school. Romney's dirty little secrets all go to BYU and LDS and nobody wants to touch it because it would look racist but at the same time they attack with racist rants over and over. I plan on doing some digging on all of the corrupt crap coming from BYU and silently LDS from Romney.

I saw copies of many of the documents (emails) submitted to the committee. What a sick joke. They were so heavily redacted that the entire content of the the email was blanked out. Some of the pages submitted were totally blank pieces of paper.

How do you justify the POTUS not allowing Kevin O'Reilly, (soldier in Iraq - former White House National Security staffer) to testify?

Last fall, the White House said O'Reilly was unavailable because he was on assignment for the State Department in Iraq. Investigators said they were willing to do the interview by phone, and O'Reilly's lawyer said he had no objection.

However, White House Counsel Kathryn Ruemmler said O'Reilly will not be made available.

Yes ... Obama and Holder worked that out very well. Covered both their backends.

Obama originally said he knew nothing about Fast and Furious.
Now suddenly there are documents that involved him and his office and he can't let them out?
Riiiiiiiiiiiight! Mr. Transparency strikes again.

First off, I am what one might consider the "radical left", and I personally believe that if GWB had done this and been caught then he would on trial just the same and be acting in the exact same way that BO is...attempting to hold his information in so he doesn't get crucified.

I think that he will end up going down with the ship, though. I have disagreed with operation "fast and the furious" since it first came to light a year or two ago? I can't remember. I knew that it seemed over too soon and that it would be brought back up in an election year though.

A president doesn't authorize something that screwed up from the get go, plan get botched, and then the ensuing investigation disappear without anyone noticing.

Is it back because it's an election year? Is it back because we have more evidence? I'm not sure which, but I'm glad it didn't really go away.

Crimes are crimes, no matter who commits them.

Oh but I thought Obama and Holder didn't even know about the scandal. How could they release documents they didn't know existed?

It is not back. It never went away. This has been an ongoing investigation. Brian Terry was killed in December 2010. Congress started asking questions in January 2011.

There is a time line in this article showing how it has played out thus far.

It was even worse under Bush. Ever heard of the Iraqi Genlemens Club in Califorina? They were Iraqi's who were building IED's in Iraq and got busted by the Military. They got green cards for spilling the beans on insurgents in Iraq. They got moved to California where they were then used to sell IED's and weapons to the cartels in Mexico as part of Bush's game. They were selling guns and IED's for drugs then selling the drugs too get rich here in the US. But when they were busted in order to protect the US it was covered up.

articles.businessinsider.com...

Local police officials told Reuters that the Iraqi gang has deep ties to the Sinaloa Cartel, one of Mexico's most powerful criminal organizations, as well as to the Mexican Mafia, a U.S. prison gang that conducts drug trafficking operations for Mexico's organized crime syndicates.

At least some of those arrested are also associated with the Chaldean Organized Crime Syndicate, an Iraqi gang based in Detroit that traffics drugs from Phoenix and San Diego to Michigan. The Chaldean mafia, formed in the 1980s, is predominantly made up of ethnic Iraqi Christians.

The AP reports that many members of the Iraqi community reached the U.S. via Mexico, with the help of cartel migrant smugglers.

The sting is further indication of the vast reach of Mexico's drug trafficking organizations. As the Mexican gangs deepen ties to other transnational criminal networks, the cartels — and the U.S. street gangs they are affiliated with — are gaining access to the militaristic tactics and weapons used by militants in the Middle East, South Asia, and Africa. The consequences are potentially disastrous for Mexican and U.S. officials as they continue to wage war against the cartels on both sides of the border.

They erased the fact they were brought here from Iraq by our government recently. Thats why they "are gaining access to the militaristic tactics and weapons used by militants in the Middle East, South Asia, and Africa." They speak in half truths all the time. They just leave out the important parts that would piss the American people off.

Operation Wide Receiver (2006) lost about 450 guns (AR-15's, AK's etc.) once they "walked" into Mexico. The ATF knowingly allowed these guns to move over the border, and lost track of them from there. Issa and the rest of the GOP have shown no interest in reviewing that precedent (since it occurred under Bush).

It was exactly the same scenario as Operation Fast & Furious, and was the precedent in losing track of the guns once in Mexico. F&F was just a continuation of the same police sting operation. Both of these operation (WR and F&F) are under the umbrella of Project Gunrunner.

The big difference between Wide Receiver and Fast & Furious is no one in congress back in 2006-7 tried to politicize the event or play the blame game, the way Issa and the Republicans are now. Why don't they bring back Attorney General Alberto R. Gonzales and grill him the way they have Holder? Hell, Project Gunrunner was his brain child.

There are two documents that Congress, and news reporters covering Project Gunrunner, choose to ignore. The first is the US Attorney General's report stating that Project Gunrunner began in Laredo, Texas, in 2005. The document was published in Wikipedia.
The second is the ATF Southwest Border Strategy, Project Gunrunner Weapons of Choice. The brochure, dated Feb. 2008, shows photos of the assault weapons that the ATF allowed to flow to drug cartels in Mexico. It was published online by the hacktivists Lulzsec when they hacked the Arizona police files.

Prior to the ATF Project Gunrunner's Fast and Furious, the ATF allowed assault weapons to flow to Mexico's drug cartels beginning in 2006 in Operation Wide Receiver in Tucson.

Congress showed no interest in Project Gunrunner until Border Patrol agent Brian Terry was murdered with those weapons near Nogales, Ariz, in Dec. 2010. Another agent, ICE agent Jaime Zapata, was also murdered with the weapons in northern Mexico. An unknown number of citizens of Mexico and the US have been murdered with those weapons.

The complete report from the US Attorney General is at:

The ATF Southwest Border Strategy, Weapons of Choice is at:

That was sadly pathetic. I'm really tired of Liberals lacking the ability to debate an issue and screaming "RACIST!" everytime their backed into a corner.

So what do you do when your team is caught in the most blatant and obvious scene of corruption? Scream racism of course.

Well I guess if every single idea that has ever been thought of from this administration was not original and had a brain child, then Obama really has never done anything wrong, but then again, he might not have done anything at all in 3.5 years in office!!!!

That's complete BS. And you know it.

The documents in question are related to an INTERNAL investigation. They are essentially documents that detail what the Justice Department and the Administration did when they discovered the "gun walking" was not working and that agents lost hundreds of weapons. In other words.. it's the documents that detail the Justice Departments cover up of a massive gun trade gone bad that ended in an American being killed.

Don't post lies. Deny ignorance.
