Vlad the Impaler, but non-the-less this is just a filler story if you heard it on MSN. Bodies with stakes..wood and metal. Have been found multiple times before ao its not unheard of. Like other posters said, they didnt know much about science back in the day. The whole idea of the stake is belived by some that it held the dead in the ground so they couldnt rise out of their grave at night or something along those lines. But check out the vampire history things they do on history and discovery channel, they explain much better than I could. But bodies with stakes, definitely been found alot more than you would think.
