I was trying to explain to a friend at work that you could believe in the bible and still allow for aliens (I don't belive in gods btw and fully believe in intelligent life outside of earth. Now if their visiting us is another story.) He said if their were aliens the bible would of told him.

.............true

I tryed to explain that there's other worlds out there countless. I explained that with the vastness of everything there has to be life outside of earth and the solar system. He looked at me, Laughed. There's no gravity up there! How can anyone live in space? I explained. There's no gravity in space yes. "But!" There's gravity on other masses in space (planets most likely said planets.) He laughed again and said I've seen videos. There's no gravity in space people float. He said. And we've been to space and didn't find any aliens.... I was, and still am dumbfounded.

..............we haven't found any other life on any other planet that I've heard of? but there are other planets, non like earth that we've found.

How are people ever suppose to consider life on other planets possible when they don't even think gravity exists outside of earth? Its no wonder people don't believe in aliens when they think we've been there and done that. lmao. We've been to space and haven't found aliens?? We've explored but a grain of sand in the oceans. I mean come on. It no wonder that most people consider aliens to be a joke. Lmao. They don't even believe that gravity exists outside of earth. They think we've already seen all the universe has to offer.

..................so I take it you've seen a ufo or an alien then? Since you're so confident in them?

If anything I'm making this post to put the word out. Most of your friends and family don't even realize that there's gravity outside of our planet. They don't realize the vastness of space. They think that we've seen all that space has to offer.

..................My thought is the world alien is just another word for demon. They not confined by gravity I don't think as they don't have physical bodies, but can manifest in what looks like a physical form... the greys.

I'm not sure theres much point here. Just pushing on my story.

Peace.

Well its good to know that you've got it all figured out.

Maybe you found your way to the wrong site? Might I suggest christianchat.net...

I don't have to of seen a ET to know their there. A UFO can really be anything doesn't have to be ET. Yea I've seen a lot of UFO's. lol. not likely ET though.

There is too gravity in space. It is common misconception, but space travel is based on gravity from other celestial bodies. The reason for being weightless is that you are falling through space essentially around another object in space.

Yeah. The people on the ISS are still subject to the sun's gravity which the Earth is also subject to. And not to mention the gravity of the galaxy and even the universal whole.

Could you please explain what you have found "compelling" at :

Might I suggest christianchat.net...

Thanks. (Full disclosure....whenever I see the word "christian" in any title, the hairs on the back of my neck rise...)

But, allowing for the benefit of doubt....at the "christian chat" site, are there actually some valid discussions about the possibility of extra-terrestrial life? By "et" life, I don't mean to go as far as 'intelligent'...(that comes later)...just, the simple fact that life can exist EVERY-where in the Universe....and in our own Galaxy, and most probably, even on other planets (or other celestial bodies) within our own Solar System.

Could you explain that in more detail?

Thanks.

Not likely. But. Even the guys one of maybe ten thousand people who really believes in crap like demons. Or the more likely scenario a person just trolling.

Sorry I'm all out of troll feed atm.

Yes. I don't have to see ET's to know they have to be there. The universe is way to huge for it to be populated just by us. I know their there. Doesn't mean I believe that their visiting us. Personally i'm 100% sure that alien life exists outside of earth. err UFO's can be anything thats flying that your not sure what it is. so. I mean. Thats about it. (I might us the word UFO talking to most people simply to keep it on a level their going to understand or at least have heard about.)

ugh. don't think so. If I remember correct they found frozen water en.wikipedia.org... . Also they had that announcement that life can be made up for things we didn't consider before. I'd be lying if I said i'm very read up on the Subject of Mars atm. sorry.

I just grabbed up that link quickly. So start with that and you can move on from there.

I know for a fact they found the building blocks of life in meteorites, though.

Maybe your thinking of water? Though. Considering all planets come from colliding meteors you'd assume that some would have the required building blocks for life.

be very, very careful.... or someone may ask you if you have seen God since you are so confident in him... we have to consider the nature of our own beleifs before we question the beliefs of others

I don't have to see ET's to know they have to be there.

Agreed.

Agreed.

I know their there.

Minor correction, sorry...."their" is a homonym (and a pronoun).....you meant to type the contraction "they are", commonly written as "they're".

Doesn't mean I believe that their visiting us.

Ugh....conditionally agreed....however, there ARE some compelling evidence to the contrary....just snippets, so far....I say, let's remain open-minded on that.

Personally i'm 100% sure that alien life exists outside of earth.

Agreed. Though, always capitalize "Earth"...(sorry, just anal retentive that way...).

I dont bother reasoning with these people. I just drop a hint and go on my way. My moms always been a bit neutral on aliens, i told her about the recent alignment between mars and venus so she could see it, and told her.... "you know, if you were on venus, looking at earth, itd just be a little dot just like that!....

That kinda thing gets people thinking.

Show your friend a video of the moon walks. Seriously? Theres gravity on the moon....

I'm very open minded to ET's visiting Earth. I'm just not sure they have. I think that most Alien life proponents are way to quick to put their name on any fuzzy sourceless video or picture that they think could help their cause. I'll point you to my signature. Keep a open mind. Don't let your brain fall our right?

100% in agreement:

Still.....there remains a crack in that door to open possibilities.....I have thought and seen much on this, over many years.

Much of the "hearsay" of "Alien contact" is made-up, granted. Yet, there remains a core something that simply will not go away.

As I revel in the idea first promoted by Star Trek creator, and icon Gene Roddenberry.....passive observance, but non-interference may be a motivation at work, here....however, we should not limit ourselves to assigning "Human" motivations (and morals) to a possibly "alien" mindset or motive.....

Yea the desperate backing of anything that would back up Aliens is a subject I want to make a post on one day. Maybe put up what I consider to be notable evidence to people outside of the UFO community. Would also make a list of videos that really have no place outside of the UFO proponent circle. (wouldn't have to be a full list just videos of note.)

It really pains me to see some crappy video of some unintelligible object that could be anything posted as being proof of ET. The same video or picture does so much collateral damage to the subject in the eyes of the general public that its impossible to ever hope that they will take it as anything but the ideas of crazy's in tin hats.

I had two christian co-workers who laughed in my face when I brought up aliens and ufos. Dismissed them as crazy talk and non-existent. But in the next 10 minutes they agreed they really do exist, but they're demons.

Later, talks about rainbows not being a promise from god but just light refraction... I was told rainbows didn't exist before the days of man because it never rained.

I gave him my Spock eyebrow and he eventually admitted he made that part up.

Actually, the ones that take the bible literally really do believe the rainbow thing... they believe it never rained before the great flood... I usually just look over that part then tell them "How God made it happen within the physical laws that exist here" and explain refraction to them...and they seem to be ok with that since they have decided that God wrote all those laws (...like congress makes laws mind you)
