You're confusing Christianity with American Christianity. Most Americans identify as Christian, but that doesn't mean the follow true Christianity. True Christianity is a beautiful teaching of peace and kindness from a truly enlightened being.

Correct. Most people confuse Christians with "church attenders". Or confuse Christians with people who only give God 45 minutes a week on Sunday and when it hits 12 noon they are looking at their watch wondering why the preacher is talking too long.

Church Attenders.. not Christians.

That is acutally not even close to be accurate, however, it is the distorted version of the scriptures as interpreted.

ATS doesnt allow for the discussion of things in depth that shows the truth.

But, Soma, and Sacraments and Religions and Reindeers and even Mario, have a lot in common.

And decoding it!

An example of a non biblical belief that is proclaimed by many Christians, "God helps those who help themselves". NOPE. Not in the bible. On the other hand, alot of important information about sharing and caring is.

And, many Christians support capital punishment "an eye for an eye", but Christ used the world, "you may have heard of an eye an eye, but I tell you this, turn the other cheek."

C'mon mate.
why do people have to learn to read? For an ideal way of communicating, I thought.

Have you ever met anyone who can't read? They get along fine in life if we'd let them.

Christians do not support captial punishment from the OT "eye for an eye" rule from the Talmuds. Christians support it because of the rule that if a man shed's another person's blood so shall their blood be shed by men. We still pray for mercy to be bestowed, but the Bible allows for capital offense for certain crimes. God will still forgive them if they repent to Him.

And yet Christ said, you may have heard of an eye for an eye, but I tell you this.....And he gave an example with the woman caught in the act of adultery. He was not here to send the bad guys off quickly to their pain and mirrors, but to give them every opportunity to heal, to turn their lives around, to recover from the train wrecks they made of them, loving them very much, and he went out of his way to seek the lost sheep.

Christians who do this don't understand what the purpose of their faith is, what Christ was even about, and that freeing us and springing the traps and forgiveness over karma and that we are called to walk in His Footsteps.

In fact, you cannot be a Christian and believe in capital punishment. PERIOD.

Here is something that is essential.

James 1 KJV 2000:

Faith Strengthened by Trials

2My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials;

3Knowing this, that the trying of your faith works patience.

4But let patience have her perfect work, that you may be perfect and entire, lacking in nothing.

5If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all men liberally, and reproaches not; and it shall be given him.

6But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavers is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.

7For let not that man think that he shall receive anything of the Lord.

8A double-minded man is unstable in all his ways.

The Poor and the Rich

9Let the brother of low degree rejoice in that he is exalted:

10But the rich, in that he is made low: because as the flower of the grass he shall pass away.

11For the sun is no sooner risen with a burning heat, but it withers the grass, and its flower falls, and the beauty of the appearance of it perishes: so also shall the rich man fade away in his ways.

All Good Comes from God

12Blessed is the man that endures trial: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord has promised to them that love him.....

25But whoever looks into the perfect law of liberty, and continues in it, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.

26If any man among you seems to be religious, and bridles not his tongue, but deceives his own heart, this man's religion is vain.

27Pure religion and undefiled before God the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world......

James 2:

2For if there come unto your assembly a man with a gold ring, in fine apparel, and there come in also a poor man in shabby clothing;

3And you have respect to him that wears the fine clothing, and say unto him, Sit here in a good place; and say to the poor, Stand there, or sit here under my footstool:

4Are you not then partial in yourselves, and are become judges of evil thoughts?

5Hearken, my beloved brethren, Has not God chosen the poor of this world rich in faith, and heirs of the kingdom which he has promised to them that love him?

6But you have despised the poor. Do not rich men oppress you, and draw you before the judges?

7Do not they blaspheme that worthy name by which you are called?

8If you fulfill the royal law according to the scripture, You shall love your neighbor as yourself, you do well:

9But if you have respect to persons, you commit sin, and are convicted of the law as transgressors.

10For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all......

14What does it profit, my brethren, though a man says he has faith, and has not works? can faith save him?

15If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food,

16And one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be warmed and filled; yet you give them not those things which are needful to the body; what does it profit?

17Even so faith, if it has not works, is dead, being alone.

18Yea, a man may say, You have faith, and I have works: show me your faith without your works, and I will show you my faith by my works.

19You believe that there is one God; you do well: the demons also believe, and tremble.

It seems like there is a lot of hate, predjudice, and violence in christianity today which isn't even really part of christianity. Mabye if they would give up all this immorality and go back to being humble and caring they
would gain more respect.

Do you think that I hate the woman who has an abortion, or is it that I grieve the practice of murdering life? Apparently you cannot tell the difference because you have bought the societal message that is being rammed down your throat that says anyone who doesn't agree with sin is hateful or prejudice. Sticks and stones may break my bones, but words will never hurt me. But words are effective on the Godless ones who have no absolute morality, it herds them just as the elites want. One mention of " bigot" and they scurry to conform. A Christian on the other hand has been taught to bless you yet stand firm. Why? God doesn't "evolve" - He's the same today as yesterday. Only you have changed my friend, accepting the beast's definitions of love and tolerance which has only led to prisons overflowing, thousands of baby deaths per day, crime, murder, child abductions, no go zones in many cities, underage pregnancies, broken families, drug addicts, teen suicides, porn addicts etc etc. The beast fruits are death and evil, God's fruits are life and good. I pray that you begin to judge fruits and realise that our collective morality has produced what millions are suffering. And yet you want to fight for it. Why? Can you not see the time in which you live, when good has been relabelled as "evil" and when evil is called "good"? The Holy Spirit affirms that the last generation will reject truth for lies and FIGHT FOR IT.

God does not evolve ? I think the actions of god from the old testament to the new testament shows that statement is false.

Really? A fundamental rule of hermaneutics is to understand and apply who the audience of a particular passage of scripture is to. Jesus is speaking to the Jews who were sitting under the leadership of the Scribes and we're being taught that the tradition of the elders was equal to and or superseded God's commandment. This is called "CONTEXTUAL THEOLOGY". Show me the verse that says a Christian "cannot support capital punishment" please. That's the problem with Chriatianity, people making up rules as they go along.

WHAT VERSE??!!

No he isn't. It is who and what he is, he is the Spirit of Peace and Love, and I've understood his message since I was pulled by Spirit in my heart as a preteen to it, almost became a nun in my early 20's, and my own heart stone, Spirit deciphers very clearly what is being said.

To believe in capital punshiment is not to walk in Christ's footsteps. He doesnt just bring this up here, this teaching is consistent with all his other teachings including the sermon on the mount, including the sun shines on all equally, that if you merely love your friends and family that does not make you special, you are to love everyone as yourself, you are to love your enemy as yourself, and Christ walked in the footsteps of all, he visited the houses of the worse corrupt individuals known to the community, the tax collectors, and by that hobnobbed with the mystery school, the greedy, the abusers, the murderers ,the occultists and those who sacrificed others.

He extended love and peace and good instructions to all.

In fact who He is is something quite extraordinary. If you have a traditional belief you may word it Lord Lord and Thrones. I don't believe Goodness above has the Ego to use those terms, and have infinitely higher degrees of humility than we can imagine. In fact, you can take all the meanings of the words that depict the highest Love and Peace, such as forgiveness, peace, generosity, kindness, service to others, non retaliation, slow to anger, walking in others shoes, going the extra mile, turning the other cheek, giving the shirt off your back.....etc. Humilty, Peace. You can take these words and turn the dial up higher and higher until its way out of your understanding level, and you'd only be toeing in to the lower levels of where Family is on these issues.

Where we're heading.

What earth tests are about.

To me, Christ IS His Higher Self in the world. He did the seeking within and found quickly, due to being a Higher Up sent in, as is called the Sun/Son, He truly represents one with that Pineal connection, one with His Higher Self, and one with Father/Mother Creator, and He truly thus, by shining their Great Light in and remembering Who He is, WAS Immanuel, God/Goodness with us.

And As One of the Parent Group, to the children, and child is related to maturity and service to others. Because adults serve children and make many sacrifices for youths. Its little ones who fight over food and toys and possessions. Adults sacrifice their all for the children.

They also don't harm children, they don't shoot one of their children chasing a sibling with a pair of scissors. They would take the bullet, rather than have their child harmed even if it was their kid picking up the loaded gun in a temper tantrum.

Christ is not about capital punishment.

And the scene where he said, you may have heard of a tooth for a tooth, and an eye for an eye, but i tell you this, THAT IS GENERIC FOR ALL.

The scene of the adulteress, He Who Is Without Sin, Cast The First Stone, that also was GENERIC FOR ALL.

You cannot be a true Christian and believe in capital punishment or many conservative policies actually, such as lack of a safety net, for it is the complete opposite of who and what Christ is, and what his purpose for coming into the world and showing us how to grow up and be the adult to the children and serve them on bended knee, love them back to life, forgive them and shine your light to them always, was all about.

And also, any part in the bible that depicts endless punishment is a distortion, that is written by ROME and the satanists there. This is about Freeing everyone.

How do I know that. I've always known that, since I was a child, and from my own heart. Because I know what Love means.

Lots of philosophy, very light on the Bible verses. Trouble finding the verses that say a Christian cannot believe or support capital punishment?? I love he Bible, love everything in the Bible, and I believe that just because you own one doesn't mean that you get to keep writing verses to it.

What verse??

You're adding to the Bible! Paul said the man who doesnt work should not eat, that is the Word. And eternity is endless. The spiritual world isn't bound by time. Time is a physical property that only exists in our physical universe. There is no such thing as time in the spiritual. Any talk of things measured by time for heaven or hell is nonsensical when we account for Einstein's GRT of 1916.
