in RESPONSE to your post , what if i was to warn people of a VIRUS on here ? would the COPS / LAW ENFORCEMENT / AUTHORITIES kick my door down ?
Or , what if i was letting you "doodz" know i had INFLUENZA , or SMALL POX , or TUBERCULOSIS (TB) , or even the PLAGUE ?

What if i was starting a thread for livestreams to a RIOT where there was a STANDOFF between SWAT and MILITIA , and they had managed to BREACH the police lines .....

yeah , i could do this all day ......

the funniest one is under HAZMAT / NUCLEAR you`re not allowed to say ---> North Korea

I had to read the headline several times to ensure I wasn't reading it wrong.

ATS is on the w.w.w and anyone can join. In fact you don't even need to join to watch what others post.

....and you think you NEED proof ATS is being watched...????????

Man, what beach did you wash up on.?

Often i´ve seen discussions here on ATS about wether or not this site is watched, most agree that it is being watched by alphabet agencies. (take your pick)

The site owners wouldn't disagree with that statement, in fact, I'm pretty sure they've said as much themselves. Knowing how half assed the government agencies are, I suspect this could be easily proven by checking some back logs of connections and running a whois on them.

i mean, we even discussed the news story about the guy investigated for I think a bomb threat at his school or something, and the fbi was outside monitoring him with an open wifi network called "fbi surveillance".

What surprises me is the fact that people are surprised by this. Where have you all been living? What did you think those NSA run data centers in secret rooms at various telco networks were for? I mean, this was all but announced right after 911, all communications foreign and domestic would be intercepted.

The internet is the biggest for of communication and spans the globe, this is why they've put a mad push on trying to restrict it, regulate it, and eliminate it. Should you be concerned about saying those words here? No more than you should when on the phone, or using any form of communication that is above whisper level.

This is the world we live in. This is the state you allowed to be created around you. Ashamed you should be, surprised indeed not.

Monitoring all these words is a waste of time. Nearly everyone uses at least one of these words. Most of us here use many of the words yet are not threats to society.

Wow...I am in soo much trouble. I think I may have typed every one of those words either here or on twitter. Those are going to be some busy folks, running around playing word police. I hope they aren't paid by the hour.

This list is fake. If it were real then United States of America, FBI and CIA would all be under terrorism and border violence.

There is no program loaded on to even hundreds of thousands of servers that could sift through the hourly tens of billions internet communications and output anything of use. My guess is it's a fake list. Somewhere, someone is laughing like a hyena that we're even talking about this as if it's real.

They can still get you...

You don't remember the International FBI raid during the MegaUpload bust? They hit like: New Zealand, the USA, UK, China and other places. The FBI went into their houses and arrested them...

You are not safe

(Sucks to be you...eh...all of us if they decide to take any action).

Wow, I had a little GAS LEAK (putput whew) when I saw this.
Oh, well I'll just get on with my weekend and grill, hope I don't BURN myself when I grill the PORK ribs, and get an INFECTION. I hope I do it right so my family doesn't get FOOD POISONING from possible CONTAMINATION, I'd hate to make them SICK. But you never know do you? It could be a VIRUS or the FLU, depends on the SYMPTOMS.
Last year our area had the ELECTRICITY go out and the town had a BLACKOUT close to this time and we had to grill all the meat But no one got SICK. It was nice that everything was CANCELLED due to the POWER LINES that were down and the GRID was in total FAILURE because of the TORNADO. We had really nice family time then being altogether. We couldn't even access SOCIAL MEDIA, so we just sat around during the POWER OUTAGE and played games.

Don't worry anyway. The moment you became a member on this site or similar ones you immediately became "watched". Your moniker means nothing. "They" traced your IPO to who you were.

Get used to it. Every time you walk out the door there is on average a camera every 150 feet in public watching you.

We should start a thread as a contest to see how many times we can use each of those words in a sentence ! That would drive them nuts.

Why not just post the entire list? Besides its so ridiculous, one of the words is "gas"... I wonder how many people are out there bitching about gas prices? There are plenty of other examples. I don't think it menas you are a terrorist if you say one of these words, but I think it just means that they will start an investigation to see if you are one. A guy will be assigned to check you out, check out the context in which the word was used. Still, its extremelly wrong. Look at all the weather related words...??? Are they concerned with weather weaponry use? Or they are using the internet as an early warning/detection array? Like if someone says "hey did you guys see that tornado?" They can get the persons location and be forewarned if any of their bases or other interests of "national security" are in potential danger? It is just kind of a flimsy excuse to say all these words are reason enough to be spied on... What if I'm talking about the interesting aspects of vortex behavior in say, a tornado, one minute, and the next minute I'm texting with my girl about the sexual things I want to do to her... Or both! Ever heard of "the tongue tornado" or whatever from the first American Pie movie? Some perverted agent says "yeah, let's save this guys transmissions on a special channel... We can check it out when we get bored and intercept his received picture texts of his nude hot girlfriend!" There's corruption and misuse of power everywhere else, why not here? There's no oversight because its all top secret national security stuff... Speaking of which, sexting has gotten so big lately and being mentioned in media all the time. What if its being promoted heavily so that those with the power to intercept such pics and videos sent over phone can have access to unlimited amounts of free pornography, including child pornography as it seems to be a huge thing with younger generations? Another way to prove that you're cool and that you're more like older kids or adults. So many kids always say they can't wait till they are 18 and they can do what they want. So they naturally try to imitate what they perceive to be adult behavior as a way to say "see? I'm already ready for adulthood", i.e. smoking, drinking, sex, cussing, etc... Just a thought as we all know our youth are constantly under attack as they are our most precious resource.

Wow this is crazy they must be overloaded as tons of those words would come up in regular sentences.

So even though I'm Scottish could they be monitoring me?

I'd like to see them try and arrest me, every single person I know despises the US Gov and how they think they have global jurisdiction.

I suppose I should consider myself grateful that the Scottish Gov stand up to America ( See Lockerbie )

I think the old center is on the west coast. I guess they needed to expand operations and make it less vulnerable to sea attack.

www.wired.com...

Text
Under construction by contractors with top-secret clearances, the blandly named Utah Data Center is being built for the National Security Agency. A project of immense secrecy, it is the final piece in a complex puzzle assembled over the past decade. Its purpose: to intercept, decipher, analyze, and store vast swaths of the world’s communications as they zap down from satellites and zip through the underground and undersea cables of international, foreign, and domestic networks. The heavily fortified $2 billion center should be up and running in September 2013. Flowing through its servers and routers and stored in near-bottomless databases will be all forms of communication, including the complete contents of private emails, cell phone calls, and Google searches, as well as all sorts of personal data trails—parking receipts, travel itineraries, bookstore purchases, and other digital “pocket litter.” It is, in some measure, the realization of the “total information awareness” program created during the first term of the Bush administration—an effort that was killed by Congress in 2003 after it caused an outcry over its potential for invading Americans’ privacy.

But “this is more than just a data center,” says one senior intelligence official who until recently was involved with the program. The mammoth Bluffdale center will have another important and far more secret role that until now has gone unrevealed. It is also critical, he says, for breaking codes. And code-breaking is crucial, because much of the data that the center will handle—financial information, stock transactions, business deals, foreign military and diplomatic secrets, legal documents, confidential personal communications—will be heavily encrypted. According to another top official also involved with the program, the NSA made an enormous breakthrough several years ago in its ability to cryptanalyze, or break, unfathomably complex encryption systems employed by not only governments around the world but also many average computer users in the US. The upshot, according to this official: “Everybody’s a target; everybody with communication is a target.”

Since the list is made of English words, maybe we could switch to French, or German... maybe even Chinese.

By the time they add those foreign words to the list, we could be old old old...

So here it is people, you can't say anything bad about the gubment because you'll be a terrorist.

Then there are many in the government itself who are deemed terrorists, for simply speaking their mind

Presidents, congressmen, all fall into that "simplified" category, so I think we can feel safe expressing opinions.

I think they may want to know who knows what, but are mostly concerned with those who use violent tactics and measures, to get a message across.

There are extreme violent "terrorists" against many organizations, not just the government.

they are really watching people and use their numbers of clicks to gather very very personal information.

Then they process the information and try to use the results in making movies and in MSM to get the best result.

But they are always just discovering what lord has already built and disciplined.

So , they are forever behind.

I really doubt they could follow people , but I have seen they recruit new members through the internet
