Did Buddha prophesize the coming of Jesus?

There is no proof the "Buddha" foretold Jesus. Buddha held the eightfold path led to enlightenment (nothingness really, -- like death which is provable unlike buddhist belief or christian). No need for a saviour and no original sin - though you inherit negative karma which is impossible to overcome as evidenced by the billions that suffer over and over again supposedly due to karma (ancient Brahmin explanation for subjugation of lower groups masked as knowledge). It is not practical or applies to anything real, but it makes people feel better.

That is what fairy-tales do: they make us feel good.

that would be pretty difficult as jesus lived hundreds of years earlier..... mohammed and islam do recognise that jesus in one of a line of god's messangers though

iirc buddha states that he was just teh incarnation/avatar whatever of this particular era, that others fulfilled the same role in earlier eras (tens of thousands of years ago) and that the next buddha would be called "maitreya", or at least referred to as such - i think this is like 20k yrs in the future - it's a long time since i have read this, but there should be plenty available via the interwebs on this

Sounds about right...

The Holy One who will keep the world in the future will be like this: in the palms of his hands and in the flat of his feet will be the design of a disc, in the side will be a stab wound; and his forehead will have many marks like scars.

This is a pretty accurate discripture of what he would have looked like after the crucifiction... Though the nails actually would have been in his wrists and likely his ankles, but its traditionally shown in the palms of his hands...

Muslims do this type of nonesense with the puranas, quite laughable. If anyone knows anything about mahayana and theravada buddhist belief they are fully aware there is no god in buddhism.
