I am wondering just what is meant by persecution here. Do you mean an effort to eliminate or subjugate someone because of their religion or are you
just offended because somebody criticized your beliefs? If I choose to not associate with you or not conduct business with your company because I
don't share your beliefs, am I persecuting you or just exercising my right to practice what I believe?
By the way, it is not persecution if some agency of civil government refuses to display a preference for some particular religion (such as the ten
commandments). I would consider this to be a low level persecution of my beliefs if they did. They must remain neutral, both by law and by a moral
obligation to all alternative beliefs.
