A question for Obama supporters - Are you still buying it?

[T&C Infraction Photo Removed]

After almost 4 years of lies and broken promises have any of you seen any change in Washington? Is your hope still alive? Was it "change you can believe in" or just more of the same...be honest?

The brief videos below contain just some of the many lies and failed campaign promises of Barack Hussein Obama as well as the Orwellian, cult-like following he has.

The fact that he has even one supporter left saddens me. I hear an awful lot of criticism about Romney being a flip flopper but I don’t recall anyone in the history of American politics flip flopping on more issues and promises than Obama.

If flip flopping is the greatest sin a political figure can commit then why don’t you Obama supporters get behind Ron Paul?? I don’t recall RP flipping on a single issue throughout 30+ years in elected office. If I’m wrong then please provide evidence.

I think the real reason people still support Obama is because they still believe he’s going to provide for their every need.

I support your right to vote for whoever you want and for whatever reason but I must know - What’s your justification for voting to re-elect Obama after everything he's done and failed to do during his first term? Do you think 4 more years of Obama is REALLY the answer to the problems facing America?

It's going to get ugly before it ever even thinks about getting better. Obama plays the race card as well as Romney does (who keep in mind has yet to be declared the candidate). Romney supporters and staff have talked of bringing on Condeleza Rice as a running mate (playing the race card at it's finest). Don't think this is "Kool-Aid" for the suckers? They're one in the same...both are liars, crooks, ignorant, spoiled rotten, rich, and stupid. We'll have 4 more years of Odummy's bull crap if either one takes office.

I'm a firm believer in "Yes, we can!" as a mantra. However, Obama has proven he couldn't.

So, in the spirit of "Change", it's again time for change. We need to prove to the government we'll keep trying someone new until things do change: changes the way we want; changes they way we need. And this shouldn't stop with the president but continue on all through government, from the top through the bottom, federal, state and locally.

Not only was that an honest answer it was also consistent!

I must admit that he was very appealing during the 2008 campaign. He even appealed to me on a few issues (only a few) and I’m a conservative (he promised to balance the budget and cut wasteful spending
). I can see how people got caught up in the hype.

Knowing what we know NOW though, I just don’t see how anyone can really believe in him. History has proven him to be a liar and a crook like many before. If flip flopping had an award Obama's picture would be on it.

I'm going to add that we should make it perfectly transparent, to borrow his tagline, that if we don't get the change(s) we need relatively quick, we'll go to the source and call for a referendum on the Constitution itself and change things ourselves. It is a right of our citizens to do so should the need arise.

Even though our federal government has "checks and balances" within itself, the people are the ultimate check and balance on them. The derive any and all powers they have from us, by our will, the will of the people.

I tend to agree, but if “CHANGE” is the mantra then don’t you think we need to try something new rather than getting 4 more years of the same? Also, Condi would be a great VP IMO. Why is throwing her name in the mix 'playing the race card' when she's obviously qualified??

I’d take a chance on 4 years of Joe Liberman or (insert politician’s name HERE) before I’d cast a vote for 4 more years of this failure. What say you?

Right wing: Obama didn't fulfill all the promises made yet
solution: vote in a republican, therefore there is no chance in hell what he said will happen.

It was once stated before....and I guess I will state again
I would rather have 4 more years of Obama breaking promises, than 4 years of the right keeping their promises.

First of all, I think it’s been proven many times that Romney doesn’t represent the ‘Right.’ If he did then he’d be a clear leader in every poll right now.

Secondly, I never said there was a great solution but it makes no sense to send the same FAILURE back for four more years when there are other options (Romney, and Paul as an independent).

Do you give up that easily?

Mitt may be a flip flopper but he hasn’t proven himself to be a colossal failure like Obama. Romney has actual experience making things work. Can the same thing be said of Obama?

I think his record speaks for itself.

1. Hawaii is in Asia??
2. Passing on the keystone pipeline.
3. Touts a Green Energy Company as exemplary that fails a year later.
4. Using the Gulf Oil Spill to promote Green Energy – instead of cleaning it up.
5. Thinking the Tea Party is a passing fad – or that they are racists.
6. Pulling out of Iraq with no clear victory over insurgent forces.
7. Trying to re-write history through speeches – with inaccurate information (i.e. Statue of Liberty)
8. Getting a Nobel Prize for being the most ineffective President in the history of the United States, though some say it was for his pigment.
9. Putting all legislation on the Internet for five days before it comes to a vote.
10. Returning the bust of Churchill to the Brits.
11. Giving a collection of DVDs to the British PM.
12. Denying the notion of American Exceptionalism.
13. Promising to close Gitmo — failing to do so.
14. Securing the Olympics for Chicago in 2016.
15. Naming numerous Communists/Socialists/Progressives to his various Czar positions and then watching them scurry for cover when Beck begins to call them out, forcing them to resign.
16. Government races for NJ, VA and the Senate Seat in Mass.
17. The midterm elections, which Obama himself called a shellacking.
18. Prediction that stimulus would ensure that unemployment doesn’t exceed 8%.
19. Bowing to just about everybody.
20. Proposing amnesty for illegal aliens to increase the population of voters for Democrat elections.
21. He said, I have visited 57 states. Now there is just 1 left to visit.
22. Obama to Medvedev…give me space I will have more flexibility after my election.

There is a video of Ron Paul flip flopping. Here it is!

but they call it something different... they call it "consistency". I'm not sure what it is since we don't see it from Politicians very often.

Darn you Ron Paul!! You cheeky flip flopper you!

Paul is not a option...well, Paul is an option on the same level as Aslan (the lion in Narnia) is a option. Might as well write in Mighty Mouse with equal potential.
Romney circa 2000ish doesn't make me overly nervous...Romneybot circa 2012 is not just an empty suit...he is actually just an extention of a few corporate entities, thats all he is...isn't even the mouthpiece for the GOP...his entire campaign hangs on a single backers billions of dollars fueling him...he is owned..not rented..owned.

Obama is the only person in this candidate that either isn't a fairy tale or not completely owned by a very few narrow corporate interests. Sorry, but thems the facts. now, spin away.

Something more important:

Ron Paul
Saying the same stuff
making the same sense
will result in the same result.
in 2007, there was this big (small) movement.
same is true in 2012.
RP..I like some of his views..many actually...but he simply won't win.
He doesn't commit..he straddles the two sides, thereby getting no support from either...getting 10% of his own partys votes is not a winner.

But don't take this as me slamming paul (would hate to slap ATS's messiah
)
Its just a realistic view of the playing field...there are two guys on the field...thats it...this is how it works, nothing will change this for a very long time.

I think we’re in agreement here about Romney…but he’s still a better option IMO. As far as RP, if he has as much support as many claim then he could easily run as an independent and fight all the way to the end. It’s a possibility, not a probability.

Translation:

He would rather have a proven idiot liar in chief .pretty sad the Democrats had their chance they lied they failed they blamed and this country is not better off that it was 6 trillion ago.

16 trillion deficit
88 million Americans out of work or underemployed

And they are sitting there begging for another helping of stupid.

Meh

Hope OBama doesn't get re-elected because it will be forward with all that same failed leadership and putting the last nail of our coffins.

That appears to be what 40% of the country is doing.

Mind boggling…really!

Lets at least give someone else a chance to drive the bus. Obama has proven that he’s incapable of keeping it on the road!

I believe that will be the outcome…4 more years of Obama will be detrimental to our nation.

Yes he does represent the right

You guys are so... so interesting -

If you look at the polls Right Wing America is Backing Romney, therefore, by definition
he is representing you.

You guys are too interesting to even comprehend that point, aren't ya?

You guys claim so and so is not conservative, yet you guys vote for the person
anyways. One has to wonder if you you guys are drunk or simply specially capable.

So in the end, Romney isn't a conservative, but you guys have been programmed to
hate Obama for 4 years, so you take what you are given, like slaves. That really
illustrates ring wing America, you are simply a tool for corporations that act based
upon effective marketing schemes.

I would be surprised if corporations get together and plan their strategies to manipulate
you guys like trained animals. Like a dog hearing the word "SIT"

You guys jump to command with the utterance of "SOCIALISM"- "TERRORISM"

So you guys get Gordon Gecko to run for president, it makes sense because the lot of
you have so little sense or mental independence, the GOP could run Wall Mart and you
would drool and attend the rallies.
