Introducing ... ME !

Hi ATSers, I Have lurked the site for a long time, joined not to long ago to say something that escapes my memory at the moment and figured I would post here as its the proper thing to do, although belated, since I posted in a few threads.

I do not have anything witty to say, pictures of my forehead to post or anything to really complain about ...

That was the very first time I have ever had a conversation in another language, Japanese I believe ? I must admit I was relying on Google and that I may not had fully understood what was being said or what I was saying.

It translated your first symbol (姫) as "princess" which seemed rather odd to me, so I was trying to say "what" or "explain" and I believe you told me where you lived so apparently I didn't say the right thing

Japanese woman, 73, breaks own record
as oldest female to climb Mount Everest

KATHMANDU, Nepal - A 73-year-old Japanese woman has set the world record for being the oldest female to conquer Mount Everest, Kyodo news agency reported .

Tamae Watanabe Reached the 29,029-foot peak of the world's tallest mountain Saturday morning after launching her Assent Friday night from an altitude of 27,231 feet.

Watanabe's accomplishment broke her own record of being the oldest woman to scale Mount Everest. In May 2002, she Reached the top of the mountain at the age of 63.

Yea, I'm certainly no where near close to tackling such an achievement. What she has done is amazing and something to be proud of but if anyone hears of me up on a mountain somewhere, something has gone horribly horribly wrong.
